Sampler Aux Bleuets... The End

Después de diez meses de entregas, hoy por fin les muestro mi bordado del Sampler Aux Bleuets. ¡Qué lástima que las cosas buenas tengan que terminar!... sin embargo, queda la satisfacción del trabajo realizado;).

After ten months of deliveries, today finally I can show you my embroidery of the Sampler Aux Bleuets. What a pity that the good things have to finish!... however, there stays the satisfaction of the realized work;).

Este es hasta hoy el bordado más grande que he hecho: 278 x 197 puntos. El lino es de 32 ct. y lo bordé 1/1 para que al final no resultara un cuadro inmenso.

This is until now the biggest embroidery that I have done: 278 x 197 points. The linen is 32 count and I embroidered it 1/1 in order that, at the end, it wasn't an immense embroidery.

Aún no decido si enmarcarlo o hacer un costurero con una caja de madera que tengo... en realidad me gusta más la idea del costurero pero, no sé de qué color pintar la caja. En cuanto me decida y lo haga se los mostraré.

I don't decide yet if I'm gonna frame it or do a sewing box with a wood box that I have... actually, I do like more the idea of the box but I do not know what color to paint it. As soon as I decide it, I will show you

I want to thank Gwen R. and the Club " Point de Croix Bourguignon " for the organization of this wonderful SAL, it has been a pleasure to embroidered it... I have a great curiosity to see all the different versions from the other participants.

iStitch Mystery SAL

En cuanto vi en el blog "istitchaholic" de Carol su propuesta para un SAL misterioso, no pude dejar pasar esta oportunidad. Sus diseños, iStitch Designs, siempre me han parecido hermosos y muy sencillos. Afortunadamente me anoté a tiempo ya que el SAL se limitó solamente a 125 participantes.

As soon as I saw in Carol's blog "istitchaholic" her proposal for a mystery SAL, I could not pass up this opportunity. I find her designs, iStitch Designs, simply beautiful. I fortunately sign in in time, the SAL was limited to 125 participants only.

Sorry for the dark photos!... was a cloudy morning here, in the center of Mexico.

El bordado es 2/2 en lino de 36 count. El hilo 223 es uno de mis colores favoritos... tomando en cuenta que mis colores favoritos son como 50, ¡ha sido una elección difícil!:D

The embroidery is 2 / 2 on 36 count linen. The 223 floss is one of my favorite colours... considering that my favorite colours are like 50, it has been a difficult choice!:D

El corazón de plata solía ser un dije para el cuello. De tanto uso que le dí, el cordón se rompio y ahora sirve como un excelente guarda hilos;).

The sterling silver heart used to be a neck pendant. I used it so much that the cord broke and now it makes an excellent thread keep;).

Mi Pochette ABCD'Air...

Después de varios meses de entregas, he terminado mi bolso para las labores del SAL organizado por las chicas del blog Association ABCD'Air. Tuve una pequeña pelea con la máquina de coser porque las piezas de tela no coincidían al tratar de unirlas. Por fortuna, luego de descoser y enmendar el error, volví a coser y el resultado ha sido de mi agrado; no es perfecto pero cumple con su propósito ;).

After several months of deliveries, I have finished my pouch of the SAL organized by the girls of the blog Association ABCD'Air. I had a small fight with the sewing machine because the pieces of fabric were not coinciding when I tried to join them. Fortunately, after I unstitched it and to amend the mistake, I sew it again and the result has been of my pleasure; it's not perfect but I think it fulfills its purpose ;).

El diseño que bordé en la solapa del bolso es de un freebie de "La Comtesse & Le Point de Croix".

The design I embroidered on the pouch cover, is from a freebie of "The Comtesse & le Point de Croix ".

Para la parte interna del bolso utilicé una de las telas que mi amiga Graciela me obsequió hace unos meses.

For the inside of the pouch, I used one of the fabrics that my friend Graciela gave to me a few months ago.

No sé si lo recuerden, originalmente una de las caras del bolso tenía un molino y un par de árboles (aquí lo pueden ver). Pues al final deshice esa parte y bordé un diseño floral que es parte de uno de los gráficos del sitio PCB.

I don't know if you remember it but, originally, one of the faces of the pouch had a mill and a couple of trees (here you can see it). At the end I undid this part and embroidered a floral design instead of it that is a part from one of the charts of the PCB site.

Como podrán ver, el planchado del lino no se me da muy bien... ¿no será que necesito una mejor plancha???... sí, ya lo sé, no son más que pretextos... ¡lo admito, no sé planchar y punto!!! :D.

As you'll be able to see, ironing is not my strongest feature... will be that I need a better iron???... I know, I know it, is nothing but excuses... I admit it, I don't know how to iron, period!!! :D.

Para Varla... - To Varla...

Pequeños detalles que envié a mi querida amiga Varla como parte de un intercambio que hemos hecho recientemente.
Small details that I sent to my dear friend Varla as part of an exchange that we have done recently.

La funda para las tijeras la hice uniendo simplemente un par de corazones y la adorné con un yo-yo en forma de corazón... ¡me encantan estos yo-yos!!!
I made the scissors case by simply joining a couple of hearts and I embellish it with a heart-shape yo-yo... I love this kind of yo-yos!!!

El diseño del cojín, al que añadí un aro para los hilos, es de un freebie del blog "Les petites croix de Fred".
The design from the little thread holder is from a freebie that you can found in the blog "Les petites croix de Fred ".

Me alegra saber que a Varla le han gustado estos pequeños obsequios que hice con cariño para ella.
It makes me happy to know that Varla has liked these small presents that I did fondly for her.

Estoy dando las últimas puntadas al par de sal's que hago y que ya están en su etapa final, prometo mostrarles algo antes que finalice esta semana;)... ¡Nos vemos pronto, espero que tengan un estupendo inicio de semana!!!:)
