Order confirmed and a week later told item is out of stock

I ordered a set of darts from the website and called the shop the following day to confirm the order. The guy on the phone placed me on hold to check they had the darts available and came back advising they do, he has them in hand and will post that day. I then received a mail a few days later saying this product was sold out and not available. The website says same day dispatch but a week later I'm advised the darts are not available. I will not be ordering from this company again and would advise everyone else to do they same

Great Service

After Ordering online and having no issues I decided to go and check out their Armagh store to see the new dartboards they have in person, very friendly staff and an overall great experience, will definitely be back.

I purchased new points

I purchased new points, flights and accessories from DartCity and the level of communication was brilliant. I had a query which 1st led to my purchase being a phone call query and then I subsequently ordered online. My dealings with JP and Chris meant the goods I ordered are spot on just the way I wanted them and the price was better than other big names , im delighted to say the least.

DO NOT order from Dartcity

They did send the product quickly, which is about the only good thing I can say. They sent me the wrong product, told me to keep it and that I would get refunded. They haven’t refunded me and I don’t want their product that I didn’t order. Cannot get a reply from them at all.

order a dartboard set with cabinet and darts included, what arrived was the packaging of the dartboard set but in the box was a couple of royal mail bags and some rocks. Tried calling the number several times and it rang out. luckily I use a disposable card number on revolut and flagged the payment with them hopefully I'll get my €92 back

Purchasing second hand goods

So I personally made the trip from Portadown to Armagh to have a wee look in the shop, not exactly across the world but still out of my way. Shop was nice and tidy and the option for trying before buying was a cool option.

Was trying a few different weight sizes and shapes. Found myself a good set of darts that were priced at 80 or 85 quid which were reasonably priced.

What I wasn’t told before purchase was that I was expected to buy the box of darts that were previously opened and trialled by god knows how many people before me. When I confronted the man working I was then made aware of this. I explained that I would like a fresh unopened box, as the box was already open prior to me testing them and god knows how many people would have thrown them before hand, bounced them out of the board etc.

The man working then stated that this was just how they conducted business, and if they didn’t do it this way they would never move stock. As much as I understand this, my point was still that I wanted an unopened box that had never been thrown before especially when the price day for the darts in question were so hefty.

The man working refused this, and because of refusal I handed the darts back and told him I’d take my business elsewhere. After saying this, the worker then followed me and my friend to the front of the shop, explaining that I was barred because of this situation.

This is my first time in a dart shop environment. Maybe somewhere in the shop it stated this was the procedure, if so it wasn’t made obvious enough.

Safe to say I will stick to buying online as apprently staying local only gets you lumped with second hand darts.

The company then replied stating I had used the darts for 45 minutes which was absolutely untrue. I then replied saying this ‘ In response to the reply from the owner - I was not throwing the same darts for 45 minutes. I did not come to your shop for a game of darts. I came to purchase darts. I played with the darts I intended on buying for roughly 10 minutes. Before trying the darts, the box was already open. As you allow anyone to try darts before regardless of age or skill, then how do I know the darts I’m about to purchase haven’t been bounced of the floor 100 times.

For the 45 minutes I spent in your shop, I witnessed countless bounce outs by two sets of children. I don’t want to spend so much money on darts handled like that.

I appreciate the service from your shop, regardless of the the fact the customer service was so poor. I still intended on buying the darts that I trialled. I just didn’t want second hand darts used by all of Armagh.
