One Seed: The Power of Nature
It only takes one seed to spark transformation. At Gloria Molina Grand Park, the new Miyawaki Forest at Gloria Molina Grand Park stands as a living symbol of that truth—a reminder that even the smallest beginnings can grow into powerful forces for ecological renewal and community connection.
These forests are globally recognized as a powerful tool for accelerating native forest regeneration and fighting climate change, capturing and offsetting more carbon while addressing the need to restore ecosystems that encourage biodiversity.
With special attention to enhancing soil health, increased plant density, and accelerated tree growth, these forests catalyze the impact of positive change. Aside from their environmental benefits, they also serve as beacons of hope and a focal point for education around climate awareness and community.
Alongside artist Tory Di Pietro, Gloria Molina Grand Park will welcome the first installation of a Miyawaki method forest in an entirely urban area of Los Angeles.
