RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@burnout426 well, here I ask to help to get rid of this black window. Dear developers. take action!

RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@leocg It's not another window. Opera flashes black immediately after opening, but only for a moment, less than a second, and then normal web-page appears, as usual. The same thing, when I click search icon in the bottom left corner. it flashes black for a very short time, and then it opens normally.

RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@leocg I've already described; black screen flashes for a moment once I start Opera. And only after it Opera opens. You can check, the same problem, when I click the left mouse button search icon in the bottom left corner.

RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@leocg Maybe, someone else has this problem too. I doubt, that it appears only on my laptop. I even reinstalled a display adapter - the problem repeated itself.

RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@leocg excuse me, is that only me, who have this problem? Can you reproduce it? Because it's annoying.

RE: Black screen. when startingGeneral
@leocg Opera One(version: 122.0.5643.71) I haven't noticed this problem before. I also work in Chrome, no black screen.

Black screen. when startingGeneral
Hello! Each time I start Opera, black screen pops up for a moment, and only then a browser window appears. Reinstallation doesn't help. What decision can be?

Why does Opera contain the old folders from previous versions?General
One more question. Why does Opera contain the old folders from previous versions? The current version is....56, and there're still subfolders...40 and...46. I think they should be automatically deleted after each update, leaving only the last.

RE: [Compilation]Discussions On How To Disable Splash Screen When Opening Opera OneGeneral
@andrew84 No way I can understand, why is it needed to show it at all? It overloads laptop dynamics, beats on the ears, delays opening, frightens cat and so on.... I ask to make the sound quieter, to lower the volume,

Good news! The browser updated to the version... ...46, and...you won't believe! The problem didn't appear itself, no splashscreen and sound! Though the file splash...exe still presents in the installation folder, but I didn't delete it, and...everything's fine!

Since there's no the feature "Show splash screen on startup" in settings, they should sdd it. Otherwise it's somebody's evil flaw.

RE: [Compilation]Discussions On How To Disable Splash Screen When Opening Opera OneGeneral
I don't have any "Startup and Shutdown" in Opera Settings. Where is it located?
-
RE: [Compilation]Discussions On How To Disable Splash Screen When Opening Opera OneGeneral
It was already said: all suggested methods work...only till the nearest update. Then you have to repeat all over again.

RE: [Compilation]Discussions On How To Disable Splash Screen When Opening Opera OneGeneral
- in the search bar (top right) digit intro; it appears Opera One Introduction
click in the drop down menu ed choose "Disabled".
I tried, it doesn't work. - use this to open browser you will have no splash screen in opera folders in local disk sent to desktop as shortcut works for me
It also doesn't work. Only the deletion of the file "splash" helps.

I think, I understood, There're two .exe-files: launcher.exe and opera.exe. I should try to create shortcut just "opera.exe". Maybe, it'll work. I must wait for the nearest update to check.

I consider, the installation by default usually takes place in C:\Program Files
