@cubebox391 Hi I was able to fix this by extracting the libffmpeg.so file from https://github.com/iteufel/nwjs-ffmpeg-prebuilt/releases/download/0.60.0/0.60.0-linux-x64.zip onto the opera lib directory /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera/
I kept a backup of the old libffmpeg.so file.
Restarted opera and it worked like a charm.

@cubebox391 same issue on Linux lite 5.4. No sound in Spotify on sidebar player and neither on separate tab
