The post by @jojocw on 3jun2022 worked for a PopOS 22.04 based Opera install. Oi vey that took a lot of wading through. Opera could surely streamline this without running afoul of licensing.

Dark mode for all webpages: whitelisting sitesOpera for computers
I've enabled the experimental dark mode for all webpages as discussed in this post: https://forums.opera.com/topic/42680/solved-dark-mode-for-all-websites

It works great 99% of the time, but I need to disable it for a few pages it has problems with, Google Slides being the most notable.
I've tried all the dark mode extensions, none look any where near as good as the feature enabled here.
Is there a way to whitelist specific websites/domains while using this feature?
