@CaptainSympathy You need at least Windows 10 and a more recent version of Opera, since old ones may no longer support installing Chrome extensions.

Tried this one. It installs fine for me in Opera 68.0.3618.125 64-bit on Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.836).

HLS is an extension used to stream videos.

Assumed that's what you meant, but without links to the extensions, I had to ask.

Using a Chrome extension with Slimjet (GetCRX), I can pack installers for extensions and themes from their Chrome pages. The extension installers so packed will install into Opera. Opera refuses to install the themes, however.
