Opera does not see printers but Firefox does

I have even tried a clean installation of Ubuntu and Firefox. To duplicate the error I just have to try to print the page and it will only bring up save to PDF. I can copy the URL from the Opera address bar and open in Firefox, and the printer is available. So cups is good, and the printer is installed properly. I have been looking for a solution for 6 months and finally decided to try here. I like the opera sidebar but it is a pain everytime I need to edit a pdf and print it.

@JustWantTo I'm experiencing the exact same problem on my Ubuntu PC. I cannot find a way to add my local printer to the Destination drop-down. Both Firefox and Brave have no such problems. Otherwise, I really like Opera, and I'd really rather not have to switch back.
