New window opens when searching in settings for the first time

When I go to
opera://configand use the search option at the top right, after the first character of the search is entered a new empty Opera window pops up.This doesn't happen again until opera is closed.
Steps:
- open Opera
- go to opera://config
- type one character in the top right search field
- a new Opera window appears
- any other search works fine with no issue
Same issue happens in Opera Beta
