I cannot import any bookmarks from HTML File or from Edge .It comes up with message saying done but none appear

This is not my fix but it does work.
This work for me. Go to your profile folder (My is for example here C:\Users\Ohaha\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable)Delete files:
History
History Provider Cache
History-journal
Restart Opera. -
