Disney Advent Calendar - Day 20

The last two days have been Encanto themed, and with the days running short in the calendar, I think there's not a lot of mystery as to what we'll find behind today's door.
We (finally!) got back into the building scene with yesterday's excellent reindeer and sleigh. The days are getting short, only a few days to go, and hopefully some good few builds to be had....
Paisley and Olly are all prepared for Santa's visit - they've written their wish lists, mailed them to Santa, presumably made Mrs. Claus' list, and they've made cookies for Santa when he visits next week. What other preparations lie behind Door 19?
Yesterday we moved onto the fifth Disney story of the calendar, with the Madrigal House from Encanto. I think, therefore, we can expect something else associated with that movie behind today's door.
Yesterday we took a turn for the festive, when we met Mrs. Claus, the latest in a lineup of excellent minifigs we've seen in this calendar. If only we could say the same about the builds! Maybe that will change on opening today's door.
The home scene is filling out nicely, with the stand mixer and baking accessories from yesterday. I'm surprised that we haven't seen more builds set in the outdoors, considering the amount of real estate the outdoors has on the placemat (worst case, more room for the sloths on Day 24). Perhaps we'll make a change of scenery today.
Yesterday was a nice interlude with a festive build - a Christmas tree! Unfortunately that it didn't have any ornaments, but as it's the first nod to the season in several days, I won't quibble about that much. We're rapidly getting down to the final week of the calendar, so let's see what direction the calendar takes us next.
Yesterday we had a build! The minifigs now have a new means to get around in the snow thanks to the snowmobile. Hopefully that means that we'll be getting more builds to finish off the last third of the calendar.
Our scene is really starting to take shape with the addition of yesterday's train, ready to put under a tree (assuming we get one). As we head into the last third of the calendar, I'm looking forward to seeing what other pieces we'll add.
The last three days have been dedicated to The Princess and the Frog. Considering we got five days dedicated to Frozen, shall we have another day with Tiana and company, or branch out to another movie? There's just one way to find out.
After yesterday's disappointment yesterday - a solitary bunny - that means that what waits for us behind Door 16 has to be better. At the very least, I would expect that it has more pieces....
Yesterday we had an excellent little build with a sewing machine along with a Santa hat. Hopefully we keep the festive builds coming as we open today's door.
I think we're solidly in "The Princess and the Frog" phase of the calendar, since the last two days have been dedicated to that story. I think it's not unrealistic to expect something else from that movie today.
We're back in the building business with yesterday's model helicopter, but we've yet to see something especially festive in the calendar, with the exception of the sweaters modelled by the minifigs this year. Maybe the festivities start today?
We returned to minibuilds, and indoor activities with yesterday's sound speaker and stage. Now we know one way the family provides entertainment during the holiday season. At this rate, I don't think we'll ever get back outside!
Yesterday we had our first non-Frozen scene in several days, from The Princess and the Frog. I expect we will find another scene from this movie behind today's door.
Yesterday we met the fifth minifigure of the calendar. Our scene is getting well populated - that is, if there was a scene! Maybe we'll have something to start building a scene, as well only have ten days left.
We've met almost the entire family now, with Rose and baby Ella being behind the doors in the last two days. While it's been great to meet the family, I'm kind of missing having something to build, so hopefully we'll get something today - indoor or outdoor.
We've had five days of Frozen, so considering we have five princesses, we may have reached our Frozen allotment for the calendar. I think the only question is whether we will revisit something from The Little Mermaid or Moana, or whether we'll start a new princess story today.
Almost half the doors so far in the calendar have featured minifigures or pets, which is very nice for populating the scene. The only downside is that as a result, we haven't had much of a scene to build so far. As we move into the second half of the calendar, perhaps we will see more builds.
