According to Supercell's official accounts, company revenues shot up to 1.5 billion euros with profit before tax at 515 million euros. Supercell's reported revenues in 2013 totalled 519 million euros.
CEO Ilkka Paananen told a press conference on Tuesday that he was satisfied by last year's results.
"The games sector was not born in Finland in a single instant. Game development is a long-term venture," Paananen stated.
Tax officials are also likely to be satisfied with the company's results, considering it paid 150 million in Finnish taxes.
Perhaps best known for its game Clash of Clans, Supercell generated 1.5 billion in revenues with a staff of 152 employees, 25 of whom were hired in 2014.
"We believe in the power of small teams," said CEO Ilkka Paananen.
Even with the announcement of sterling performance last year, Paananen is cautious about future prospects.
"This is an extremely competitive sector. Developing successful new games is difficult and requires a tolerance of failures."
