Plans are for a new children’s hospital to replace the old Lastenlinna paediatric hospital by 2017. Up to 30 million euros of the 130 million euros needed for the venture is intended to be secured by way of fundraising and sponsorships.

"Many of Supercell's employees themselves have children, and the idea of a donation came from several directions at once," says Product Lead Lasse Louhento.

The sum donated by Supercell staff represents over 10% of the total target. So far, the association gathering funds has collected 13 million from other sources.
