art / writing
My art and writing is very personal to me, so please don't use/repost those. Thank you! <3
For things I'm 100% comfortable with others using, see souvinirs!
edits
Edits I've made (e.g. Scooby-Doo title recolor) are between you and the original creators! IDC!!!
warnings
Past the initial warnings is the dangerzone, LOL. Rarely I'll give additional warnings according to the criteria below.
- Previews in the gallery are partially blurred, and tagged if they contain gore beyond just blood.
- On the same basis, I'll try to give warnings on hoverpeanuts... for external links.
- Otherwise, warnings will usually state type (e.g. gore, sexual, sensitive, taboo) and format (visual, audio, writing) and you can then unfold them for specifics.
type (format)
- scaaaary: oooo spooky scary warning oooo evil
- specifics: XD
This means that by continuing, there's either visuals, audio, or in-depth writing that some might find uncomfortable, or might want to save for later.
For writing, it has to be in-depth and a sensitive topic pushed to the extreme for a warning to be given.
No warnings for simply mentions, and no warnings for general violence / abuse / assault / bigotry.
This is just cuz a whole lot of (even everyday) things count as such, and with the crap my OCs get into, I'd spend more time writing warnings than drawing...
"fake ads"
In places rarely relevant to the topic, you may spot fake ads. It's just a regular link; not something I earn money from.
non-profits and donation-funded projects
The best things in life are funded through community, but surviving on just donations is tough. I might include banners for non-profits and community-funded websites on the topic of art and free speech.
Consider supporting them, whether by donations or by spreading the word! owo)b
"NostalgiAd"
NostalgiAds are of things that were part of my childhood between age 7 ~ 16 or so.Some of these you really shouldn't show to kids though; my online childhood wasn't super epic so lets not repeat the "success."
I'll provide warnings as per usual. Basically I'll do my best to shield you from jumpscare hentai.
Safe travels, buddy!
old layouts
*slaps the timetravel button*
1. "controlpanel"
Ah yes. The god awful iframe experience, LOL. I loved this layout a lot actually. It was completely fucked on mobile, but I liked the point-and-click look.
I did not, however, like how much space the navigation took up on the screen... T_T I also handcoded it directly in a HTML editor, so posting new drawings was a drag in and of itself.
2. "bright space"
I decided to try out a SSG (11ty), so I packed my art, my sparkles, and my stupid little car window pinetree... And fucked off to easier pastures.
Posting art was generally what I wanted to focus on, and it became so much more streamlined.
I struggled with this layout because I still felt very attached to my old one. But I ended up pleased with this one as well. It did start to feel cramped though...
3. "infinity and beyooond"
I chucked the roof into oblivion cuz it's not like the lack of oxygen can kill me.
As much as I liked the result, soon it turned out some things (the jukebox, the status update, and the featured "friend quote") I implemended didn't work as well once I moved over to NearlyFreeSpeech for webhosting. I'm sure it could've been fixed to cooperate with their services, but whatever, time for a change. Again.
4. cutting mat
While I was browsing local, long-gone-but-archived websites which I used to visit as a kid, I chose to go more "old school;" or as old school as you can go when you really, really wanna keep your CMYP accent colors.
I also ditched dark mode for this one. This layout was very... teal. Dark teal, even, and it was very matte and it looked like something that would smell like eraser dust.
I soon realized I need my purple eye cancer colors to survive So I gave it a paint job.
5. dubious concoctions
And here we are... ⚆⚆
