I'm very much at the limits of my understanding about web-hosting, and very much appreciate the help Gandi gave me - above and beyond what would normally be expected. Gandi double their pricing for DNS renewals in 4 years.
Gandi double their DNS pricing over 4 years and are way above competition. I use Gandi for 20 years for all my domains, never had issue. I think Gandi is just gone lost, we have to pick another service if we don't want yearly cans... I just realized today all the billings, a bit late unfortunately. I'm furious. No warns no whatever, just silently take the money from the credit card with insane prises (39EUR for a yearly .org which use to be 57EUR for 3 years for a .org ...)

Gandi's customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever I've had an issue. The Help Desk has done much better in this regard than the GandiChat facility on the website, which recently only responded to a query of mine after two days.
However, I am unhappy about the steep price increases from Gandi in the past few years. A helpful customer support agent provided me with a discount today to renew my mailbox for another year, but next year I will likely search for a new domain and mailbox provider.

Gandi is seriously getting worse in past couple of years. There isn't much transparency anymore, many if not all included benefits are now paying options, prices skyrocketing without prior notice.
Of course, lot of recent reviews are aligned with above, people loosing trust!
The company's replies are at best "we don't care attitude". If you decide to reply, please provide a meaningful reply as to why should anybody keep doing business with you instead of transferring out to cheaper and more reliable big names on the market?

Gandi steals money
Gandi stole money for 1 year of the domain (50 euro), without transferring it to the domain register. Support is answering with automatic messages and closes the tickets. Domain expired and I lost it.

I always get timely responses from Gandi when I ask for support. Their feedback and suggestions are always helpful, and never the type of scripted responses I'm used to from so many other customer services departments.
