Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible Monday afternoon across northwestern Oklahoma.

Mostly dry and seasonable conditions will continue through at least the first part of the week.

After dry weather early in the week, the chance for persistent shower and storm activity will increase late this week into the weekend. Strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall will be possible.
