The show retains its operatic squalor as well as its ability to mine near-comically horrific situations for poignancy. Go to Full Review

These new episodes are hard-charging and still mostly shorn of sentimentality. This show knows exactly what it’s doing. Go to Full Review

August W 3d I have been following Indusrry from om rhe very first day and have watched all 3 seasons over and over. Loved it! This new season 4 ep 1 is embarrassingly hyper cliche, wink wink, trying ro be clever which it used to be and is no longer. Perhaps too many focus groups? Absolute boringly superficial trying too hard to be cutting edge. This latest chapter has escaped the stable and is bucking aound making a mess. Did it become too popular and thus fell into the kitcgen with 30 chefs? ? Reminds me of the HBO disaster The Idol mire than Industry seasons 1, 2, &3. SILLY not in a good or hip way. Blaaaaaah… I’m sure it will get better? brw Usually love Kal Penn, but not in this sorry See more Jean-Pierre T @Move-E-Kritique 3d As the audience we do not get to see the full season like official critics but from episode 1 I have to ask. What is wrong with me? The critics praise this show, and I think it is beyond cliche, superficial, and written by a teenage Jordan Belfort fanboy on poppers! WTF. I watch as an anglophile and sucker for money, power, PJs, and nice cars. I guess it does tick all the boxes of a shameful guilty pleasure, like a pleasurable bowel movement. See more Thefires G 3d muddy, no flow, boring.... what changed from the last 3 seasons. boo. See more Greg I @bubbadubbalubba 4d Great if you dont like a story that makes sense See more Steve K @skilner 4d There is some sharp, contemporary writing in this show, and the acting and directing make the most of it. I loved how they so casually dropped this quote, "He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." So appropriate! See more Jaroslav K @JaroslavK 4d After episode one seems like the Industry might have done it again. Main characters are seen in new roles and positions, which promises us new issues that should keep the viewers interested even for the fourth season. Atmosphere of corporate finance world full of climbing up the ladder and backstabbing in the office and partying, drugs and sex out of the office seems to be preserved. Already looking forward for next week. See more Read all reviews
