Last semester in partnership with Feature.fm Professor Kaitlyn Moore, SVP of Marketing at mtheory LLC, created the opportunity for her students to get exclusive access to feature.fm's robust artist marketing platform as part of a final project. Daniel Sander, CCO of feature.fm, graciously gave a talk and free Pro memberships to Bandier students to allow them to fully utilize the company's services. From creating mock tour page links to pre-save links, students were able to use the same tools that professional artists use to promote their music. 2,393 Spotify Pre-saves on a $1,362 budget advertising budget. This is what happens when you turn a music streaming campaign into a long-term asset. The full breakdown is in the case study : https://lnkd.in/e_SQsJ6m We wrapped our second Spotify pre-save campaign using Meta ads with Ouroboros, and the results are borderline a masterclass in the power of compounding audience growth. Our first campaign built the foundation. This one built the skyscraper. Using the "Future Save" function that Feature.fm offers, we helped pull in 1.2K+ future saves (meaning every future release by Ouroboros will now be auto saved by the fans who pre-saved this release). With a focused $1,362 budget, we retargeted proven fans and built powerful lookalike audiences, while also finding new ones. The Results : 🔥 2,393 Pre-Saves (a 61% increase) 🎶 92K+ Streams in the first 28 days (a 142% increase!) 💾 5,855 Song Saves post-release (a 98% increase!) 📈 Spotify Popularity Index jumped from 37 to 45 during week 1. 📧 2,000+ Fan Emails captured (Ouroboros now has well over 5K+ emails from engaged fans due to streaming campaigns which can be used for direct communication with his listeners for direct to fan offers, live shows, exclusive content on future releases). My takeaway: The most valuable asset for any artist is their owned audience. Every campaign should be an opportunity to build that asset (instead of renting it or paying to have someone else gatekeep it). By investing in a "Future Save" strategy, you're making every future release more powerful and more cost-effective. Stop thinking in single campaigns. Start building an ecosystem. Take Multi Follow. When a fan Pre-Saves or Future Saves a release, Multi Follow ensures they automatically follow the artist (and optionally, their playlists or profiles) on DSPs. While we support Multi Follow on several platforms, 90% of artists were only using it for Spotify. Why? Because we auto-filled Spotify links, but not the others. Artists were missing out on Deezer, TIDAL, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Audiomack follows simply because they had to manually add URLs. So we fixed it. We now auto-include all supported DSPs in the Multi Follow when artist URLs are added at sign up. The result? • 📈 Deezer Multi Follow usage: +𝟯𝟴𝟲% • 📈 TIDAL: +𝟮𝟱𝟵% • 📈 Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Audiomack: 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.
