For SaaS and AI-driven organizations, identity security is core to how partners deliver value. As Oliver Roth, Chief Commercial Officer at QBS Technology Group and Managing Director of Prianto GmbH, puts it: “1Password stands out as a partner that’s aligned with how we deliver value and how we like to collaborate. That alignment allows us to differentiate our services and build long-term relationships with customers navigating increasingly complex security needs.” That alignment is at the heart of our evolved 1Password Partner Program, designed to support partners with clearer structure, stronger enablement, and a performance-based model built for long-term growth. 👉 See what’s new in the Partner Program: https://bit.ly/4bDotH2 #PartnerEcosystem #ChannelPartners #IdentitySecurity #CyberSecurity #1Password

AI agents can do a lot of remarkable things, but avoiding common cyberattacks is *not* one of them. In our testing, even the most advanced AI models would identify a fake login page… then retrieve the real password and type it in anyway. Training AI agents to act safely might be the most urgent security challenge of our time. That’s why we built Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure (SCAM) to benchmark AI agent safety. Now, we’re taking the conversation to Reddit. Join Jason Meller, VP of Product Architecture at 1Password, for a live AMA on February 17 at 9am PT / 12pm ET to discuss: 🔹 Why AI models fail at staying safe 🔹 How a 1,200 word security skill transformed results 🔹 What agent trust means for the future of credential security Drop your questions and join the discussion 👉 https://bit.ly/4ra59pA #1Password #AgenticAI #RedditAMA #IdentitySecurity

AI models can identify phishing with 99% accuracy. So I gave eight of them a password vault, an inbox, and 30 normal work tasks to see if they would spot them without asking. The results were not what I expected. The best model in the world identified a phishing domain, explained exactly how the attack worked, and still handed over real credentials. It analyzed the URL after clicking instead of before. Every single model forwarded an email full of database passwords without a second thought. Safety scores out of the box ranged from 35% to 92%. Every model committed critical failures in every run. No good benchmark existed for measuring this. Existing AI security benchmarks test whether models can be tricked into ignoring their instructions. But the scarier problem is simpler: agents faithfully doing what you asked, without realizing the task leads somewhere dangerous. So I built one. It's called SCAM (Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure), and we're open sourcing it through 1Password. https://lnkd.in/enVAeB6B

🛑 Think catching phishing is IT’s job? In the AI era, that’s a problem. New research shows ⤵️ 📊 48% of workers say it’s IT’s job to catch phishing. 🔗And among them, 72% have still clicked suspicious links. That’s why 1Password has rolled out a new phishing protection feature that steps in at the exact moment risk appears, when credentials are about to be shared on a suspicious site. As AI-powered phishing scams get more convincing, relying on people to spot every threat isn’t realistic. Security that works actively helps people avoid costly mistakes. 👉 Read the research, the risk, and how this new phishing prevention feature works: https://bit.ly/4r87AbP

🤖 AI agents can detect phishing. They just don’t know not to fall for it. To address this risk, 1Password built the Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure (SCAM) to test whether AI models can stay safe in realistic scenarios. The results were eye-opening ⤵️ 🚨 Every model committed critical failures 🚨 Some forwarded passwords to attackers 🚨 Others typed real credentials into phishing pages, even after recognizing the threat. The good news? A simple 1,200-word 1Password security skill dramatically improved results. Critical failures dropped across all models tested. As AI agents gain access to credentials and systems, security isn't optional. That’s why we’re open-sourcing SCAM: the benchmark, the scenarios, the scoring system, the testing framework, and the security skill. 👉 Learn more and deep dive into the full research: https://bit.ly/4qrrhKR #AgenticAI #AIsecurity #IdentitySecurity #OpenSource #1Password

It's always fun to get together with The Circle by Founders Circle Capital crew and my peers. This one was particularly fun and not because it was about me, but I was able to give Jamie Lynn Jaakkola a deserved shout out! 1Password
One of the best parts of The Circle by Founders Circle Capital is getting to know the people behind the title. We asked Greg Henry, CFO at 1Password, a few rapid-fire questions for a fun glimpse into his preferences, habits, and leadership style. ☕ Coffee first or breakfast first? ⚡ Hire for skill or hire for attitude? 🧠 Deep work or multitasking? At The Circle, we bring together a vetted network of top CXOs from leading growth-stage companies who want a trusted peer community to grow and navigate the role with more confidence (and less isolation). 👉 Applications are open here: https://lnkd.in/gw_BZ49g

AI agents can reason. But when it’s time to take action, a lot of systems still break. On Feb 19, Nancy Wang (1Password), Jon Aniano (Zendesk), and Spiros Xanthos (Resolve AI) are joining us to unpack what’s blocking real agent autonomy and how teams are fixing it. Then we open it up for off-the-record builder discussion. Join us: https://bit.ly/3ZDmBXn

As AI becomes embedded in everyday business workflows, identity security is taking on a far more critical role. In CRN's 2026 CEO Outlook, 1Password CEO David Faugno explains that organizations can no longer think about securing access for people only. Protecting machine identities and AI agents is now a critical part of modern security strategy. This evolution demands a fundamentally new approach to identity and 1Password is uniquely positioned to lead that transition, with partners playing a central role in helping customers secure the expanding identity landscape and turn AI into real business outcomes.
