In Everybody loves Touda, we see the point of view of the artist on the scene. We see her struggle to sing what she wants and in the way she wants to sing it. We see her fight between pleasing her audience and pleasing herself. Will she find a place that accepts her as she wants to perform?
There are some beautiful images. It depicts, in my opinion, quite well the culture of the Morocco in which she lives. While giving us get a good grip of her life. I would recommend you to go for the VO of this movie, I think the language is important to be authentic.
This movie did two things to me: 1. It made me wonder if I sometimes push people to do things that I want, without caring about their opinion.
2. It made me realize how much the male flirty behaviour is annoying for women.

This movie shows a village of people against mandatory school. And it makes us realize that what we take for granted today, was a fight of yesterday.
Today nobody would be against mandatory school, at that time, in this village, none were for it.
The movie is touching. It's giving you strength to fight for what matters for you, it shows the ambition and courage it needs to make things move.
In my opinion, it is a must watch if you're working in education.
However, on my opinion Alexandra Lamy was not the best fit for this role, I had some moments that I considered non authentic. But, that's subjective I guess.

We all have times where we want to push ourselves and other times where we just want to be lazy.
Whiplash is here to bring back the ambitious part of us, it's there to ignite the flame of greatness in us.
Yes, we'll have those times of laziness, yes when we come home at the end of the day, we'll want to lie on the sofa... But no, this is not what we should be doing. We are on this planet to bring what we have to bring... I think that in this society where everything is a given, where we have so much time, we end up just being lazy.
I am not saying that we have to suffer, I am not saying that we need to mak sacrifices. I am saying that we should all push ourselves to become better at the things we love. We all have jobs, we all have room of improvement in those jobs, why do we take it easy? Why do we think that we don't need to do more? Because someone told us that we're doing a "good job"'?
Do you remember your first month at your work? You were striving to improve, you were learning everyday, maybe even practicing in your evenings after work. Why did you stop? Why did I stop? Because we told ourselves, it was good enough.
What if it is not good enough? What if we try to go the extra mile as Andrew did?
Then, maybe, we'll bring more great things to this world. Keep up the bad work to make it great.
