I'm not surprised in the least the Pro Monsanto trolls above who gave the film one star are spewing their propaganda because they don't want people to see this important film that tells the truth. Classic of them to try and make people not see the reality. This film is impressive. It is one of those stories you rarely get to see Hollywood make anymore because they are too busy making giant Superhero movies. This is a subtle and intriguing suspense thriller like those of old. The acting is amazing. This cast is killer. So fun to see Anthony Edwards and Kunal Nayyar act together. I have to say, I was surprised at every turn. Lots of twists and turns along the way. It's great storytelling. Looks STUNNING. Fantastic cinematography for an indie film with lots of beautiful locations. Most importantly, it's about something real. This affects me and my children and I give many thanks to this filmmaker for putting this amazing work out there.

This movie is comprised of extremely useful information. There are many excellent documentaries alike. People need to know what the industry is doing behind closed doors and this film opens the doors to what's really happening. I was elated to see that such a film was made and hope there are more to follow. As other have mentions, I see the one star reviewers. I wonder if they even watched the film. The biotech industry is so evil that it is not inconceivable that they would try to discredit this film. They either work for the industry and are afraid of the inconvenient truth. One reviewer wrote they had a problem coming up with ten lines. Why even leave a review? Moron. I hope this film has a sequel and I hope to see many more like it.
Am I surprised that this movie gets very negative reviews on here? To be honest, not really, as there are still a lot of very gullible people on this planet, especially in the United States. The USA is one of the countries with the most cases of cancer and is also the country where GMO's are just in about everything they eat, and eating they like over there. The story is clearly based on Monsanto, the most evil and tolerated company in the world. I liked the movie, not really an eye opener to me as I already live GMO free since decades (at least I hope). But for somebody ignorant to the matter it's an interesting story. Well acted by Zoe Lister-Jones who played the major character. Not much will ever change in this world as those companies are just too rich and governments too corrupt. The only solution is trying to avoid all that crap food. It reminds me of a video I watched and that you can easily find on the platforms where a presenter asked a representative of Monsanto if his product was safe. The defender of Monsanto replied you could easily drink a whole glass as it's absolutely safe, and the reporter then proposed him to drink a glass in front of everybody. You can guess what he did and answered. An absolute classic and epic video where they showed with what kind of lying rats we're dealing with here. Check it out and enjoy.
Great movie. The rating is an indication of how naive and gullible the general population is about GMOs.Why do someone find it hard to believe that playing with genes and consuming that wouldn't affect their body? I have worked with GMOs and can say that the portrayal in the movie is very close to reality. Amazing movie and everyone must see it. This must be made compulsory in all schools. The plot revolves around a very plausible mother who tries to find the cause of her son's disease. It also includes the lies spread by GMO giants in exploiting Asia.Acting could have been better, but it is compensated by the depth of movie, questions it raises and truth it brings to main stream media.
Great to see there are actually SOME movies that reveal the underhanded operations of the evil who are in control. What SHOULD be exposed is that the public are being given vaccines that have not been evaluated for carcinogenic, mutagenic or impairment of fertility, it is stated in all the vaccine inserts in section 13, but NO-ONE says anything about that. Makes one think WHERE autism comes from.

- TriviaMany of the scenes were shot in the Natural History Building on the University of Illinois campus. The building was available as it had recently been deemed structurally unsound (and would later undergo an eighty-three million dollar renovation). The metal pillars in the hallways were actual support beams. The lab in which Kunal Nayyar and Anthony Edwards worked, was an evacuated honors class lab for Integrative Biology students.
