The game show that pays out in cash while avoiding that dreadful dragon is back in a new era!

It started off in the 1950s, but many people fondly remember the late 70s-early to mid 80s version hosted by the late Wink Martindale (and later by Jim Caldwell in the final season of this version), and while I admittedly haven't seen it, I can definitely see why people enjoy it and wish it to either return to GSN or come to Buzzr.

It did get notoriously revived in 1990 with the notorious Patrick Wayne as the host of that version, premiering in September of that year and ending in December. It was being wildly hated by game show fanatics and still is to this day.

And before this GSN revival, we almost got a syndication revival in 2021 with Tom Bergeron as the host, but it was shelved later on.

Now, we have this revival, which debuted on April 14, 2025, premiering on the same date as Bingo Blitz (more on that sooner or later). It is hosted by the current queen of GSN game shows Brooke Burns, who also hosted Master Minds and the first US version of The Chase. If you remember how the game worked, its more or less the same. Overall, it's pretty decent for a game show revival, albeit with some flaws.

And as for Ms. Burns herself, she looks like she hasn't aged a day and still looks gorgeous!

...and that's to look at Brooke Burns, who has to be the most absolutely gorgeous woman on the face of the planet Earth.

Otherwise, forget it.

The show is boring and very slow-moving. No suspense and little action. Plus, there is this goofy dragon that randomly pops up in different squares during the game. Even Brooke has a hard time generating excitement over that. But she's still great to look at.

I really tried to like this show, but as a serious trivia guy I just can't. Don't waste your time....or at least turn off the sound, and just look.
