After the end of the 2016 run of MG on ABC in 2021, 4 years later, it made its return, with a new host by the name of Martin Short, who I'm a big fan of and felt optimistic about him hosting it, having such energy that is mostly similar to Gene Rayburn's, and he did pretty decent from what he gave, especially the recurring bit of the famous MG toaster.
The celebrity panelists in this episode are the lovely Selena Gomez, the beautiful Cara Delevingne, the funny Kevin Nealon, the hilarious Anthony Anderson, Ziwe and BD Wong.
Overall, a OK debut, but do hope that it gets better as it goes along.

After the end of the original show's 2nd season, Night Court dropped their 3rd public defender Billie Young (Harry Stone's 2nd love interest) in favor of Harry's 3rd love interest Christine Sullivan (played by the late, beautiful Markie Post), who made her first appearance in S2E2. They've also lost Selma Diamond as sarcastic bailiff Selma Hacker, after passing away near the end of the 2nd season, and we get introduced to the court's new bailiff Florence "Flo" Kleiner (played by the late Florence Halop, who would pass away herself near the end of this season).
The episode's plot revolves around Bull losing her co-worker Selma after her passing and him going through his grief of losing her and Christine's first day on the job, delighting Harry and Dan in the process, and Post manages to crush it in her first regular episode, and proves that she belongs in the regular cast!
So for any Markie Post fans that are interested in seeing her as a regular for the first time, then this is the episode to see!
