Not even for a second I even blinked watching this film. I was weaving connections who is the killer. Then the story took so much twist and turns that I could not even guess what would happen. Then the climax was so shocking to me that I was like what.. I didn't even guess this. I don't want to spoil your experience so I will not reveal the ending. But you have to watch this film for the end only.
Highlights of this film according to me - 1. Super story, screenplay and fast edit 2. Music is awesome 3. Climax is mind blowing 4. Lead actress is super acting
I will watch it again next week to enjoy this thrill again.

This movie is a treasure to our film industry.
What I liked the most - 1. The name of the film is very unique 2. Story is brilliant 3. Screenplay and edit is very crisp and fast paced.
4. Drone shots are beautiful 5. Music and songs are beautiful 6. Lead actress Sangeetha Rajeev and cop role Aravind Kuplikar are awesome.
What I didn't like 1. There were very less screens for this masterpiece 2. Needed more marketing because this film has more potential to do great like a Kantara.
Overall brilliant film, the theatrical experience for this film was super. Great story and performances. 2025 is a nice year for kannada industry.

CLIMAX CLIMAX CLIMAX!!!
Why I am stressing on the climax is because for that you need to watch the film.
You can not miss any single frame in the film right from the beginning of the film. The first opening says so much which we will get to know after watching the climax. There is so much information in the film that I did not know.
Director and writer says it is fictional but just imagine these things are actually happening in real life. We don't know who to trust.
Exceptional writing and execution. Acting of all actors are good. In the climax there is a huge surprise. But the actress Sangeetha rocks the acting scene.
Roshan D'Souza is an amazing new find to the Kannada film industry. I want more conspiracy theories from him in the future.
Songs are very catchy especially the lagun lagun song.
Overall a super watch.

Nimitta Matra is an amazing film. But I feel this film got lost because it was hit by a wave of films releasing the same day and the hype of another hindi film.
I am sure the makers are wondering what they did wrong but I am here to tell you that there is absolutely nothing wrong with Nimitta Matra. Infact I would go as far as telling you guys to re release the film so that the film gets the proper time and screens to showcase this brilliant thriller.
Perfect screenplay, crisp editing and amazing visuals. What else do you need in a thriller? A high potential film lost in the crowd is what I would say.

Okay, let me just say-this movie was an absolute ride! I didn't expect to enjoy it this much but from the moment I sat down, I was locked in. Like seriously, I didn't even check my phone once (and that never happens 😅).
What I loved the most is how real everything felt. Nothing was overly dramatic or cringey. Even the fight scenes-which usually go full slow-mo in our movies-felt grounded and believable. And the songs? So good! They didn't just randomly show up and kill the vibe. They were in the background, smooth, emotional, and added a whole mood to the scenes. That last song, especially.., wish it went on a little longer. So epic!
Now the concept-OH MAN-it's WILD. There's this whole thing about experiments and human behaviour and it actually feels like it's based on something real. The filmmaker even drops proof at the end like mic drop. For a Kannada movie, this storyline felt so new and experimental. Like... this isn't your usual hero-villain story, it really gets into your head.
I wish they'd shown the actual experiments though-like visually, not just told us about them. That would've been next level. Still, the idea itself was cool enough to keep me curious the whole time.
Direction, editing, screenplay-all on point. It actually felt fresh and different from the usual stuff. Acting-wise, I really liked the female lead and the cop guy-his dialogues HIT HARD. And omg so many new faces! Honestly, they did a fab job and I hope we see more of them in future films.
Also shoutout to the drone shots-they looked super cool! The overall colour tone was aesthetic AF. Not gonna lie, it gave indie-vibe but with a proper story to back it up.
AND that reveal scene towards the end?? Legit goosebumps. Like what just happened kind of moment. 😳
If you're someone who loves movies with a fresh concept, great music, and solid storytelling-please watch Nimitta Matra. This one deserves all the hype.
Now I'm off to tell all my friends to watch it.
