Standing Up for Sunny

OK so it's not a 10 (I did that to counter the idiot who only gave it a 1) it's probably an 8. The only drag is the lead actress's acting ability is not great... poor soap opera actress... Australia has MUCH better than here but I guess they had a low budget and she was the best they could get that could also covert mega cuteness factor? Once you ignore that blemish she delivers enough for you to enjoy the rest of the beautiful simple genius of this charming film and it's central character delivered wonderfully by RJ Mitte.

This is a very funny movie with a serious undertone

I have seen probably around two thousand movies and after seeing so many, it's hard to find really good ones. This is one of the good ones! It made me laugh, it made me weep, it made me angry and it did all of it in a very natural entertaining way. I absolutely loved every second of it.

In my view, what makes a movie good is how it makes one feel, little details like the fact lead didn't use Austrialian accent - is totally irrelevant, I mean seriously? You think makers of movie didn't consider it? They just decided to not do it.

This movie tugged at my heart s g rings a little but was also very funny.

Sunny Sunday chilling with the wife and we stumbled across this move on STAN. Going in with zero expectations we came out with tears and laughter. What a gem of an Aussie romcom!

"I am not superficial. I do all the Telethons. Those things last all night." So true.

And then there is Gordo and his punch lines.

Must watch if you are a laid back Aussie couple. (The wife will love it)
