Drôle de Lune de miel

A particularly progressive film for an Islamic country like Kuwait Beautiful landscapes hotels and all the things you think you are in a western country. Typical American script with a little dose of Islamic standards and the local way of life in Kuwait and Lebanon. The funniest part of the story was whether or not the couple were actually brother and sister.

Too many laughs in the first part of the film.

The only doo of the movie was the fat girl's thick hair and her rather exaggerated way of expressing herself. The groom was quite restrained.

At least me and my wife had a good time in this movie.

The final song is Hayo by Robert Alasaad noted in the end of the movie and also easily shazamed !

This was an absolutely amazing happy and sweet love comedy! I loved every minute of it. Don't listen to haters on here. The story line, acting, scenery were all beautiful. Yes, the main girl did some improvements to her face, who cares, she looks beautiful anyway :) This movie made my day while I'm in hospital and made me smile and dream and giggle and feel happy. I see lot of hatred and negative comments for this movie, which is sad. I have seen some real mediocre movies surprisingly getting high rating. This movie is much much better than a typical Hollywood or Bollywood 'romance' movie that usually gets over-rated. And this is coming from an Indian movie buff who lives in the West.

I watched this film fully and honestly gelt good at the end. It is from a Middle Eastern culture. I am not contesting the cultural accuracy depicted here, but the film definitely touches basic human emotions. The leading actors have done well. Particularly the leading man, very good expressions! And of course congratulations to the whole crew for this hard work! It is nice to see such good work coming from a small country like Kuwait. Please showcase more movies showing your core culture, if possible from your core society. I got some cultural shock concepts from this film like "marrying one's own cousin!"

I had no idea Lebanon is this beautiful! So now I have kept it in my travel bucket list!

World needs to see different perspectives other than typical stuff bombarded to us on NetFlix!

It is so nice to watch something different, and it is so funny in the same time. I didn't know that Kuwait have night clubs. Also, they looks very modern, like it is not really from Kuwait. After this movie, I have a wish to travel there and explore this country. Only one thing what I did not like, I don't understand what is happened with lips of the Main acter, lipa are simply exaggerate i and it is not nice for actor. We expect that actor from Kuwait be more natural. Also, in move miss more colors, I believe in their Couture they have it more. This is not wasted time and I enjoyed the movie.

I love watching movies from parts of the world I only know through news reports. Gorgeous scenery and real chemistry between the two leads. It is a story that's been told hundreds of times but not from this country. The whole sister mystery was very strange but only from my western point of view. And I liked that Noor was an active, athletic woman. The only thing I couldn't understand was what she saw in her ex boyfriend, he seemed like a dull, possessive blockhead.

So if you are open-minded and like a breezy Kuwaiti rom-com, you will enjoy this movie. It has an innocence to it that I love about international films.
