Restless is a decent thriller film .The biggest positive was lyndsay m performance, she's just outstanding in the film. The sound design is very good and the screenplay is well written except the last 15 min which is the climax .I found the climax really disappointing ,after all the build up and the tone the film generated, climax is utterly bad and the film sinks there .overall for the first 1 hr you can definitely give it a try if you are a thriller film lover .As I mentioned the performance of lyndsay m itself makes it a great watch .Direction by jed heart is very good and background score adds to it.
I enjoyed Reckless. It's movie about a woman living a home with a shared wall and her new neighbor is a noisy ruffian who parties all night. She asks him to keep it down, he won't be reasoned with, and a movie ensues.
A movie like this relies on a good escalation of events, which was done very well right up until it wasn't. In a movie like this no government entity is allowed to be effective, and on matters like this it can be a little tricky for police, but the movie crosses some lines that require suspension of disbelief. And it ultimately draws to a conclusion that didn't feel fleshed out, or earned. It leaves you with questions, but treats the matter as settled.
Lyndsey Marshal was obviously the star of the show here, and she did a great job. Her characters steadily wearing sanity was handled effectively, which helps keep you on her side as things start to come apart.
I want to give this movie a higher score, but the ending was just too sudden and it didn't feel like the situation was drawn to a definite enough conclusion.

Just Got Out of a Screening of Restless
What an Engaging Watch From Beginning to End.
Things i Liked about the Film -
⏩🐌 - The Build of the Film was Excellenty Crafted. The Film Ramped Up to an 11 the Moments that needed To Be Ramped Up and the Film Slowed Down to a 2 when the Moments Needed to Slow back Down. And this Happens Multiple Times Throughout the Film.
📜 - Moreover, Coupling that build with the Plotline, the Resolution & Conclusion made for a Very Engaging Watch(in my opinion).
💭 - Also, the Visually Symbolic Exemplifications were Precise & Brilliant Additions to the Film(The Bed by the Sea⛵, the Lamps Pulsing in her house as she seems to be losing it, the Red Light, the House Ceiling Beginning to Literally Crack (which was actually really happening))
😨 - That Horror Segment was another Excellent moment. The Quick Cuts with Completely different Body Movements as she fears for what could happen after a specific moment, again, the Artistic Expressions that are throughout the film are Great Additions.
🤦 - Onto that moment, what the hell was she thinking? There's a Specific Scene at around 50 minutes in that whilst watching, I thought to myself "This is going to be a Cataclysmic Decision". You will know the scene when it happens. Like who else would of Sabotaged the Equipment?
👌 - Near the End, i was thinking how are they going to wrap this up? And the Conclusion we Got was Just About Spot on. It wrapped it up Perfectly.
Overall, a well thought out and Put Together Film.

Many of us have been there. Dealing with a noisy neighbor or two. Really good movie, entertaining, and not long and drawn out like so many movies tend to be nowadays.
I enjoyed it as more black comedy than drama/thriller. And you'll feel so bad for this poor woman. There's a couple of scenes where she goes out of her way to get a night of sleep that's both sad and kinda funny.
The movie moved crisply for me and I recommend it.

I was skeptical about this one but based on the reviews I decided to give it a try. I have found that most anything rated above a 6 on IMDB is worth a watch. Not always, but most times.
This was very entertaining. I really felt the lead characters frustration with the situation as she was reaching her breaking point. She was trying everything to get the obnoxious noisy neighbor to tone it down, to no avail. I found myself wondering what she would try next.
The ending was excellent. It's a twist you won't see coming but it is delicious!
Definitely a strong 8.
