Just Got Out of a Dolby Cinema Screening
The Positives are +
π+ The Production Design is Excellent, it really felt like another Realm, not within the Mainline MCU. With the 60's Production Design, the Equipment, the Costume Design Etc.
π³ + The Visual Effects were at Times Phenomenal, the Black Hole Shot, The Flying Scenes, the Surfing on things Scenes, the First Time they Meet Galactus etc. There's Tons of Stunning Shots here.
π΅+ The Score is excellent, it has very Strong Cues in the Score
π’ + The Fantastic 4 themselves were good, the Chemistry Between them was Good To Watch
π₯ - Shalla-Bal as Silver Surfer was Great, Good seeing her backstory too, and the Surfing on Lava scene was so good to watch.
Negatives -
π - Galactus had no real depth to him, we needed much more Character Development of Galactus.
β© - I just think the 3rd act was Rushed.
π - The Plotline(specifically in that 3rd) act was laughably stupid. After being temporarily blinded for a moment, you're telling me that a Being as Smart as Galactus would just walk into that thing like an absolute Dummy? And then not Destroy the thing?
And that's pretty much it on the Negatives, but because of this, that 3rd act suffers greatly. A Being a Smart as Galactus should not be portrayed so foolishly.
So overall, It was an ok Watch at Best.

Just Got out of a Screening of Materialists
π€·Who is this Film for?
πΈIs it for Rich People?
Is it for Shallow Superficial People?
Because that's what it seemed like, it talks about 6 Figure Salaries, 7 Figure Salaries, Wealthy Apartments, Extremely Wealthy Apartments.
π97% of Humans watching this Film Cannot Relate to this stuff.
Then it goes on further to talk about mundane things and Checking Boxes in the Dating Scene, things like Height, Weight, Looks, Wealth etc. And it's Constantly talking about this. So the Result is, an Extremely Unengaging and Boring Watch.
If you Find this Stuff Scintillating, then You'll probably Love this film.
π΅ π₯ 2 Positives is the Elegant Score & some nice Cinematography, there's some nice shots here.
But other than that, there's not a lot going on here.π Also the characters are not all that interesting, so that's more boredom.
π―I guess the Details were already in the Title "Materialists", but that doesn't make it a Good Film.
πPlus the Ending was Complete Nonsense.
No woman Living in Reality would choose a failed, broke actor/caterer over a multi millionaire private equity guy.
So overall, the film is a Nothing Burger.

Just Got out of a Screening of I Know What You Did Last Summer 2025.
πI knew it. Another Generic Slasher. I mean, none of the films were good. The 1st, 2nd, or the 3rd. Guys, one of the Greatest Legacy Sequels already happened, Final Destination 6(The Greatest Final Destination film ever made). We've seen it. This Film I Know What You Did Last Summer 2025, isn't it.
Here are the Positives +
π - The First 50 Minutes or so were actually Engaging.
π - Gabbriette.
ππ³ - That First Death with the Harpoon and then the Statue-like Pose was pretty Disturbing when it zooms right in.
π - The Sound Design in 2 Scenes was really Good, the First was the Scene with Jennifer Love Hewitt turning and looking when she thinks someone's outside her house, and the Second was the Steam Room Sound Design when the that guy is in the Steam Room.
π - Another Kill with the Hook Going Through his Neck, the Sound Design was brutal on that one.
That's Pretty much it.
Negatives -
π - After a while, it's just stale and generic, not to mention Stupid.
π€£π - The Fisherman is possibly the worst Horror Antagonist ever Made. Not scary in the Slightest and an Absolute Joke At Times.
π - The Film is Just Constantly Calling back to the 1st and 2nd film, and it has so many Similarities to the 1st. Can we focus on this film here?
π - None of the Jokes were funny.
π¬ - Some of the Edits are Terrible.
π - When You First Find out who the Killer is, it's an Absolute Embarrassment of a Reveal.
ππͺ - By that time, I was completely out, I was just waiting for this thing to end.
π£ - And here's the absolute detonation of this film. Why did he shoot her? They could of together taken out the girl there on the boat, kill her, you win, Game Over. Why shoot her? What is this Writing?
So Overall, it was a Complete Waste Of Time.
