Black Creek" is an adrenaline-charged throwback to the golden age of action films-only better, sharper, and more relentless. Cynthia Rothrock and Richard Norton reunite in peak form, and their on-screen chemistry is as fierce as their fists.
From the very first scene, the action choreography sets a blistering pace. Rothrock delivers high-speed kicks with the precision of a sniper, and Norton's raw power brings real gravity to every punch. Their fight sequences are more than just combat-they're cinematic poetry in motion.
What elevates Black Creek beyond standard action fare is the spectacular special effects. Explosive set pieces are executed with style and authenticity. The blend of practical effects and flawless CGI brings gritty realism to every shootout and brawl without ever overwhelming the performances.
The story is grounded but gripping-a rogue militia, a secret past, and justice that must be taken with bare hands. Rothrock brings emotion and intensity to her role, proving once again she's not just an icon but a force. Norton balances charisma and stoicism like a veteran warrior who's been waiting for the right war.
If you love martial arts, classic action stars, or just a film that delivers punch after punch with heart, Black Creek is a must-watch. It's the kind of film that makes you want to stand up and cheer after every fight scene.
10 out of 10 stars. Cynthia Rothrock is still the queen of combat, and Richard Norton proves legends only get better with time.

I worked with Cynthia Rothrock and had a fight scene with her on Sworn to Justice in 1996. Honestly, as much as I enjoyed her movies over the decades...this was my absolute favorite. The story, acting, and production were very well done. I know about 1/3 of the people in the film. But Richard Norton has been a dear friend of mine for 27 years. I'm still very heartbroken by his loss, but I'm happy, thanks to Cynthia, that he left us on a high acting note. This was his finest acting performance ever, and yours too. Thank you for taking great care in putting this production together. I admire you and your vision.
At any rate...BRAVO on Black Creek. It is a very good one. Best Western I've seen in years. And a strong female lead in this genre, I don't believe, has ever been done before.
Warm regards, Ray Normandin.

Cynthia Rothrock owns the screen in the action packed western, "Black Creek." The gritty drama is intense with a bit of fun as well. Cynthia plays Rose, a gunslinger investigating the death of her brother and must fight corrupt law enforcement to uncover the truth. This film is filled with intense training scenes, fast paced attacks, and a cast of highky skilled, and talented martial artists, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Keith Cooke, Benny "The Jet" Uquidez, and many more. The late Richard Norton gives a stellar performance as Rose's nemesis and their fight scene is something you do not want to miss. Choreographed by the amazing Mike Moller the battles in Black Creek will have all action fans on the edge of their seats. The drama is heart pounding and the performance by Eliza Kelly as Rose's sister is nothing less than award worthy. To top it all off, the talent of Cynthia Rothrock shines through in both her martial arts skills and her savvy performance as a gunslinger with a sharp wit and good heart. This film will be remembered, and we all look forward to Black Creek 2.
This is one you got to check out. Cynthia Rothrock and Robert Clancy vision for this movie and seeing it thru with that vision all the way to production. A super A B and C cast there is definetly some old and new talent in this film. Great fight scenes, humor and all around excitement from start to finish! Cynthia Rothrocks performance, Richard Norton, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, R Marcus Taylor, Brandy Futch, Jody Nolan, Eliza Kelly, Keith Vitali, Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, and many Martial Artist from around the world. Can't say enough about fight and stunt choreographer Mike Moller and his team were fantastic. BRAVO! Can't wait to see Black Creek 2.
I'll be honest-I went into Black Creek thinking this was going to be a respectful nod to all of us who've stuck with Cynthia Rothrock through the years. A little nostalgia, a couple of signature kicks, and a reminder of why she's a legend.
But she went above and beyond.
Yes, the nostalgia is there-those fight beats, that no-nonsense stare, the quiet intensity before the storm-it all hits in the best way.
But what I didn't expect was just how much grit, power, and heart Rothrock still brings to the screen. This isn't just a tribute to her past roles-this is a legit action film with real stakes, solid performances, and a leading lady who hasn't missed a step.
The fight scenes are raw, grounded, and tight-no flash just for the sake of flash. Every move feels earned. She's not just here to show up-she's here to remind everyone that she still sets the standard.
And let's not ignore the emotional depth she brings to this one. There's a weight to her character that makes you lean in between the punches. She wears experience like armor-both on-screen and off-and it shows.
So, to Cynthia: thank you for not phoning it in. Thank you for showing up and still giving it your all. And thank you for continuing to be the Lady Dragon we all fell in love with.
Final verdict: 9/10 stars - a powerful return that doesn't rely on the past but earns every minute of the present.
