Exclusive: Danny Feldheim has joined The Walsh Company as EVP Television.

Feldheim was brought in to help lead The Walsh Co.’s push into TV, with a primary focus on the company’s renewed relationship with Apple TV+, which extended its overall deal with The Walsh Co. in March.

He was most recently department head at ABC Signature/Disney Television Studios, where he helped get multiple projects, both comedy and drama, into production across Hulu, Disney+ and Onyx, including Phony starring Connie Britton at Hulu, Holes at Disney+, and How to Die Alone at Onyx.

Before his time at ABC Signature/Disney Television Studios, Feldheim was an SVP at Paramount+ and its predecessor CBS All Access, where he helped launch the original series division. Select shows he oversaw include The Offer; Star Trek spinoffs Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds; The Good Fight; and Stephen King’s The Stand.

“The Nanny” star and SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher has joined the cast of Josh Safdie’s table tennis movie “Marty Supreme.” She will play the mother of Timothée Chalamet’s character.

Starring alongside Chalamet and Drescher are Gwyneth Paltrow (in her first on-screen movie role since 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame”) and Tyler, the Creator (in his film debut). Adam Sandler is stepping out for the premiere of his new Netflix comedy special!

The 57-year-old actor and comedian had the support of wife Jackie as they arrived at the premiere of his Adam Sandler: Love You special on Tuesday night (August 20) held at The Paris Theatre in New York City.

Also supporting Adam were his close friends Dan Bulla, Ronald Bronstein, Josh Safdie, and Rob Schneider.

Julia Fox, Richie Shazam, Tinx, and Sarah Sherman were also in attendance at the premiere.

Later that night, Adam appeared on The Tonight Show were he confirmed that this fan-favorite pro football player will be making a cameo in the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2!

Adam Sandler’s latest Netflix project, the stand-up special Love You, hits the streamer next week, but fans of the comedian are eagerly awaiting a future Netflix title: Happy Gilmore 2.

Netflix confirmed in May that it had ordered a movie sequel to the 1996 film, after Sandler and co-star Christopher McDonald said in separate interviews that such a project was in the works.

Now, making the rounds to promote Love You, Sandler is revealing more about what to expect from Happy Gilmore 2. On Tuesday’s Tonight Show, Sandler indicated that filming would begin in a couple of weeks in New Jersey, with real golfers and even a Travis Kelce cameo, after the Chiefs star and Sandler fan said he’d do “anything” to be in the film.

“It’s good,” Sandler said of the sequel. “We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anybody down.

“I’m doing it right,” Schneider told The Hollywood Reporter when asked if those responses have made him think about doing anything differently. “The thing about free speech is, free speech is all speech. Free speech isn’t for the nice stuff. It isn’t for the socially acceptable stuff. Free speech is the speech that challenges you. Free speech is the not-nice stuff. Easy speech or speech that’s acceptable to everybody doesn’t need any protection. I’m there to challenge the audience.”

Adam Sandler has revealed that Happy Gilmore 2 will begin filming in New Jersey next month.

The actor-comedian spoke about the long-awaited sequel during an appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday night. “It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anyone down. We came up with an idea — we wrote our asses off,” Sandler explained.

Sandler also revealed that the film will feature cameos from a number of professional golfers, as well as from NFL star Travis Kelce. “What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. Adam Sandler is in a loving mood with the trailer for his first stand-up comedy special in six years.

The star is featured in the promo released Wednesday for his forthcoming Netflix special Adam Sandler: Love You. Launching on the streamer Aug. 27, the project is directed by Josh Safdie, who co-directed Sandler with brother Benny Safdie in the 2019 film Uncut Gems.

Love You’s trailer features snippets of Sandler saying “I love you” from the stage in various ways. “You guys are the best. I love you,” he says in one moment. “I love you. I need you. Help me.”

Later, the performer appears to sum up his special for the crowd. “So anyways, I talk a lot, and then I sing, and we do a bunch of shit,” Sandler quips. “All right, here it goes.” The trailer later shows him playing guitar.

“Love You” marks the Sandman’s first stand-up comedy special since 2018’s “100% Fresh,” and it reunites him with Josh Safdie, who directed Sandler in “Uncut Gems” alongside his brother Benny. (This is Safdie’s comedy special directorial debut.)

“You guys are the best, I love you! I love you! I need you! Help me!” Sandler cries out to the audience in the trailer for “Love You,” which was first announced in February.

Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions is behind the special, as well as producers Sandler, Safdie, Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, Dan Bulla, Carter Hambley, Brian Robinson, Joseph Vecsey, Judit Maull, Eli Thomas and Perry Sachs. Barry Bernardi, Robert Digby and John Irwin are executive producers.

“Love You” is the latest in a string of collaborations between Sandler and Safdie.
