LEGO Batman 2: The Most Nostalgic Game Ever

I got to say, I'm a bit surprised to find my self talking about this game 10 years later, but it's just that good. I remember watching the movie "LEGO Batman the Movie: DC Super Heroes Unite" on DVD before playing it. Fun fact, the movie was going to be released on its own, but TT decided to make the game to go along with it instead, which explains why the cutscenes in the game can feel disjointed at points. Speaking of cutscenes, the voice acting in the game is very good. Troy Baker is probably my second favorite voice actor (Kevin Conroy is my favorite, peace to him) and Chris Smith does a good voice for the Joker. They also brought Clancy Brown in to voice Lex Luthor, which is another fantastic choice. As for the missions though, they are good. Every level that takes place in Gotham is either a 10/10 or an 8/10, but the Lexcorp ones have a bit to be desired. They don't have nearly as much detail and just feel like your typical sci-fi laboratories. However, Gotham City rocks. The open world is huge and has a lot to do in it. The character roster is pretty small, but it's still really nice to play as the Justice League for once. Overall, this game is nostalgic as heck with memorable missions and a funny story.

    9/10, I love this game.

    It's fine. First one's better I think.

Oh man I was disappointed by this game. As someone who really likes the first one, I expected this one to be better and that honestly wasn't the case. I will say that I did really enjoy the big open world, the graphics, & the character roster was really cool. Everything else though I felt was kinda rushed. I didn't really like the story. For a game subtitled "DC Superheroes", Superman is like the only hero outside of Batman/Robin that the main plot focuses on. The rest of the J. L. doesn't show up until the last two missions. I also hated the hunting for the collectibles, it got very boring and tedious after a while. The glitches, my God, there were so many & the driving controls were awkward. Overall, my opinion may sound controversial because I know some people really love this game. If you do, I totally understand that. There are some great qualities but the flaws are just to visible for me. Game's good but not great.

    6/10.

BY FAR the best lego game!!!

OK,so, to start with(before I got this video game) I didn't expect much from it. Even when I watched the first mission online I thought it wouldn't be brilliant. The only reason I bought this was because it was a lego game and I enjoyed the previous lego games and the first lego batman game. Then I played it. Lets just say I couldn't turn it off. The dialogue in this game makes the game a more enjoyable lego game and the story is amazing. For me,this has the best character range in any lego game. Even when you finish the fantastic story missions you still have tons of fun! Yes, so you can't miss this game Because even if you even didn't like any other lego game you'll like this one.

LEGO Batman 2: LEGO Meets Gaming

Okay, I have to admit, I really did not want to buy this game for my PS3 a few months ago. Hearing that it was the first LEGO game since LEGO Island 2 that featured a full voice-acting cast, my expectations were very downed. Also, LEGO making an Open World? LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 had an Open Hogwarts/London, which was not the best either. When I picked up this game, I couldn't help but notice that the Justice League was on the cover. From the trailers and everything, I had expected this just to be a Batman, Superman, Robin, and Wonder Woman game, but I was shocked to see that it actually had the Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and AquaMan. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal for a LEGO game; never before have I seen such perfect little details! The capes of our heroes actually look as though they're made of fabric, metal statues actually shine and glint, extremely realistic buildings, and much, much more. And the Open World: Breathtaking! Gotham City is 500 square miles, which is completely enormous compared to the tight, cramped space of the Batcave in the first game. With characters to unlock, bricks to collect, and citizens to save, the Open World has been keeping me busy for a long time, and I think that I'll be working on it for a lot longer. And finally, the Story and Voice Acting. The story is an improvement over the first game; with dialog and news stories to catch you up, the game is easier to follow and is a lot more humorous. Joker is surprisingly hilarious, Batman and Superman have a pretty comical relationship going on, and finally, Robin is no longer the laughing stock of the game! Altogether, I have to say that I absolutely love this game. From the amazing way that Superman flies around Gotham City to stopping Joker and Lex Luthor, I must say that this is the best LEGO game ever assembled.

    Disappointed but it's ok

The really first one had an interesting set of game levels where the first four eas for Batman and Robin (4x6) with really hard but mostly fun boss battles that made them stand out from each other and don't forget that you could play as the villains and do bad things, oh man that was the dream, I was robbing a bank and stuff.

And then this came out and I was like, oh another great Lego Game with the whole DC Universe, but then I completed the story and I was like is this all? 15 small missions with only Batman and Robin?

And how you unlock all these cool villains is super weird, you find a random map sign and look for them, you find them, you defeat them, you buy them, you got them?!?

    So boring...
