In Flight

Awful, wooden characters and nothing we haven't seen before. Way too long, could have been over in two or three episodes. Is it any wonder mainstream TV is dying a slow lingering death when they continually churn out this type of cookie cutter drama. Do yourself a favour and take the dog for a walk, you'll enjoy yourself much more.

I had big expectations for this drama, even though I'm not a huge Katherine Kelly fan-she's not in Nicola Walkers' league thats for sure. Immediately I found the plot cliched, predictable & formulaic. Directing style rather like a few other recent dramas but not as good. Katherine's' character acting not totally believable for me & I found that the whole thing was trying to be an exciting story but failing miserably...we've seen similar dramas but of a better standard. I turned off early..I didn't care about the characters-that was the main issue.

This is a typical Channel 4 rubbish show. I've watched Episodes 1 & 2 in full and refuse to waste any more of my time on episodes 3-6.

The common issues have been highlighted elsewhere so I won't bore you with duplications.

Six one hour episodes equates to 4 hours maximum programme time.

That's 4 hours of your life wasted.

When a show takes three minutes to cover an exchange of two text messages in its first episode, one might be cynical enough to suspect padding for contracted time. Sure, you're going to fill the requisite six episodes eventually. But this was so slow it looked like the budget precluded a drone for aerial shots of sweeping fields and traffic. I get suspicious when the re-cap of Ep.1 contains throwbacks of Ep.1 that were shown in Ep.1.

Predictable gimmicks, drama school acting at best, even the make-up looked studenty. I will not invest my time further. Some of the lighting as good sometimes.

I won't share spoilers. Watched this as a download. It was meant to be all moody and thrilling and was as thrilling as a shapeless sock. Katherine Kelly is bland. When she was in Corrie she acted, it was ott but she was acting then she became all pouty and self obsessed and now it's like watching paint dry. Give this one a miss.
