The concept is good, but the chefs going against the titans sometimes make better dishes, yet get less points. The random judges have their own preferences, of course. It'd be more interesting, if they changed the titans each season. Who reckoned these chefs to be the titans? Mei Lin beat the titans and won the belt in Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions, so she's more of a titan than any of the titans. Food Network recycles these chefs, getting tired of the same faces. It'd be great to see new chefs enter the scene, which TOC is now trying to do. But, of course, not all chefs want to become TV personalities nor have the time.
There is no way in heck Brook's little taco thingy beat Jose Garces' pork meal last night. I will never watch that rigged show again. Her dish lacked finesse - it was plain, boring and simple. No effort. Jose played the game well! He knew she was way out of her wheelhouse. And who the heck was that judge? One of Bobby's girl friends?? She seemed almost fair with Votaggio's meal and somewhat fair with Tiffany's dish but when it came to Brook - it was so unfair!!! Even Brook knew she lost - lister to her comments. Wow!!!
Good riddance to that flaky show! Try harder Bobby!!! You are better than that.

I started off enjoying this show when lesser known chefs came to battle. It was believable and judging seemed fair. This season with the add of iron chefs has just become a joke. Chef Simon's episode was beyond insulting when it came to the judging and tonight's episode with Chef Jose was clearly fixed. With all the cooking shows I will be changing channels and finding something else. Really unfortunate as I love watching Michael and Tiffany cook.

Bobby Flay hosts this one with his three "titans" as they face off against a guest chef. The three dishes are judged by a guest judge.
Problem one is that the titans are unlikable and they cheat. Sour losers Brooke Williamson mopes when she loses and middle-aged Michael Voltaggio, who dresses like Bart Simpson, sulks and pouts. Tiffany Derry does better but not by much. They all whine about the judges' comments and scores.
Meanwhile the "titans" constantly cheat by telling out tips and time warnings to the one who is cooking. "Don't forget your fish in the fryer." Get that meat on the grill." "You haven't used the red onion yet."
Meanwhile Flay wanders around kibitzing and making goo-goo eyes at Williamson. There's also some flat-faced woman who serves drinks to the "audience" of 20-somethings.
Just another Bobby Flay vanity production.

I love this show so much but the stylist needs to do better for brooke and her hair stylist. She is so gorg and they make her look like a a character in a where's waldo puzzle. PLEASE help her! She deserves it! The latest episode of the horizontal stripped collared top with the hot pink pants was just rude to put her in! On a brighter note, Tiff slays all day and they dress her based on her personality and it works so well. Michael wears regular clothes so I don't have much to say. Overall, the food they make looks so good and maybe the competition is rigged at some point but I am usually distracted by brooke's outfits. Please fix this so I can focus more on the show!!!

- GoofsVery poor editing in the first episode. When watching Michael V prep it switches back and forth of him with his apron on and off. (He wasn't doing this, it was the poor editing).
