Dhoom Dhaam (2025) is an action-comedy that follows Veer Khurana (Pratik Gandhi) and Koyal Chadda (Yami Gautam), a mismatched couple who enter into an arranged marriage. On their wedding night, a case of mistaken identity forces them to go on the run, leading to a series of thrilling and humorous escapades as they search for the mysterious "Charlie."
The film offers a fresh take on the action-comedy genre, steering away from typical Bollywood formulas. The screenplay is tight, ensuring there's never a dull moment. Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi deliver commendable performances, adding authenticity and charm to their roles. The humor is well-placed, making the film an entertaining watch without feeling forced.
The cinematography and visuals are top-notch, capturing the essence of the story beautifully. The background score and songs complement the film well, though the music isn't its strongest suit. However, the overall execution makes up for it. If you're looking for a Bollywood movie that feels new and exciting rather than repetitive, Dhoom Dhaam is a must-watch. It's a perfect blend of comedy, action, and emotion, making it a complete entertainer.

If you are looking for some entertainment where you can settle down with popcorn and enjoy for sometime then you won't be disappointed. Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi play a newly married couple who get the shock of their lives on their wedding night when two goons break into their home and desperately threaten to shoot them while asking for the whereabouts of "Charlie". The couple promptly escapes and then starts the roller coaster run chase at night through the town. Both Yami playing Koyal and Pratik playing Veer are opposites in every sense. He is a phobia filled Gujarati vet ( I am a vegetarian, I can't eat my patients!). She is a full blooded fiesty Pujabi girl who gulps whiskey and shoots with enthusiasm. Together they make a terrific quirky couple.
Director Rishab Seth fills the movie with an engrossing cocktail of comedy, action, slapstick, romance, music more than enough to keep you entertained. There are twists and turns with shady cops, a botched up robbery, kidnapping, a mysterious pen drive, unfaithful boyfriend etc etc all happening in a wild ride at a crazy pace at night. These misadventures are all presented in a humorous vein and it is light hearted fun all the way. The sitcom has lots of suspense filled action with surprises. Both actors have fully immersed themselves in their cranky roles. ( Watch Yami delivering the monologue and belting out expletives and Pratik doing the pole dance among other amusing scenes.)

"Dhoom Dhaam" is an entertaining mix of romance, comedy, and action, with outstanding performances by Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. The story takes an exciting turn when a newlywed couple's wedding night turns into an unexpected adventure due to mistaken identity. Yami impresses with her strong, confident character, while Pratik's transition from a timid husband to an unlikely hero adds charm. The screenplay is crisp, with well-timed humor and thrilling twists. The cinematography and background score enhance the film's appeal. Overall, "Dhoom Dhaam" is a refreshing and engaging watch, perfect for those who enjoy fast-paced romantic thrillers.
The wedding night gets rough turn when both bride and groom gets muddled in a police operation . It's an interesting premise for twist and turns . The story takes inspirations from movies like hangover where they have to connect the dots on what actually happened . It has a beautiful use of mcguffin ( if I tell you what , it will be a spoiler ) . There are sparky moments but also some unwanted scenes , the Kartik aryan type rant seems forced and long from Yami Gautam. Some places yami Gautam misses the beat , pratik on the other hand looks smooth . Climax has been closed in a good way but this could have been amazing comedy if it was rounded properly.
After a short gap, Bollywood delivers a film that brings back the charm of movies we used to enjoy. It's a light-hearted, fun-filled ride with a simple story, familiar characters, and just the right mix of humor and emotion. The movie doesn't try to be different-it sticks to a tried-and-true formula, and that's exactly what makes it enjoyable. The music is catchy, the visuals are colorful, and the performances feel natural. It offers a sense of nostalgia and comfort, making it a perfect watch for those who miss the Bollywood feel. A pleasant break from heavy dramas and action thrillers.. Perfect for a relaxed watch!
