The actress was rolling her eyes around way too much it was distracting. Other then that it seemed good 👍🏻
And interesting storyline and good acting overall.
You can figure out who the "bad guy" is pretty quickly. This movie actually made me feel sick it was so bad. Way too predictable, slow moving, unexciting dialogue, and no creativity. Characters had no real depth, were pretty structured, and generally unbelievable. It could have been edited tighter, which would have made it shorter, but could have moved the story along quicker. Maybe if you want something to play in the background while doing something else, this may be an option. But to sit down and actually watch it? A waste of time. In fact, I looked forward to the commercials just to have a break.
A woman's stalker reemerges when she returns to her hometown as a reporter to investigate the disappearance of her childhood best friend. Despite some 'suspects' it was fairly obviously who the culprit was, but this mystery holds one interest, and has adequate acting, though squeaky- sounding voice of the actress can be distracting.
Poor acting and a weak storyline with men who are all crybaby mannies (men who have become nannies) make this a total waste of time. To me, the only thing that could have made this movie worse is a scantily clad woman running through a dark forest being chased by a stalker wearing a mask and carrying a knife.
I understand that Holywood has been directed to make more movies with strong black female roles like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but this was ridiculous. We need movies with main characters who are multifaceted, not stereotyped, and who have substance.
Note to writers: Real stalkers don't tie people to wooden chairs and leave them in a room with an open door. If the story needs the person to escape, use some imagination, like they're left in a locked room but crawl out through the ceiling or they break a hole in the wall and reach through and unlock the door.
I knew after the opening scene with a woman wearing earbuds hears a crack and looks around without removing her earbuds and then tenses up in fear, that it was going to be a fake, low-budget movie with poor acting. And I was right.
