I went into this thinking typical Bachelor premise/trash TV - ESPECIALLY because it's by some of the same people that did Jersey Shore, but I was pleasantly surprised. Reality TV is always a spectrum of being contrived to flat out scripted, but I did feel a certain level of genuineness from this after a certain point. I liked how even though there was drama, there was a good amount of comradery especially among the two "Joes". I liked the occasional "breaking the 4th wall" moments. I feel like they actively looked at many of the things wrong with this genre and improved on some of it. My best recommendation is push through to episode 3ish, after that they seemed to get their own show voice. I think if you like reality TV, there's no reason why you wouldn't enjoy this show. If they do a season 2, I would watch it.
Thoroughly entertaining watch. In this series, it seems that both men are successful, with one having an edge over the other. Bottom line, Steven is totally hot and that's enough for me to turn in on a weekly basis!
This reality TV show is similar to "The Bachelor": a bevy of beauties vie for the attentions of a man looking for love and marriage. But here there are two bachelors, and one of them is rich.
The central conceit has to do with the motivations and interests of the women. Are they looking for love or money?
The primary asset of this series is the bachelors themselves, who are both likable. They do not seem like "players". One is a rancher and the other has a construction company.
Viewers know which man has the money, but the women only know that one is worth $10,000,000.
Though the season is early, I like where this is headed.

After watching the first seven episodes, it is clear that this show has forgotten what made the original such a success. Rather than serving up a funny parody of THE BACHELOR, JOE MILLIONAIRE: FOR RICHER OR POORER serves up what would be an inferior season of either JOE MILLIONAIRE or THE BACHELOR. Conceivably enough time has passed that the original concept might have worked one more season, but instead the program opted for a more serious and honest format that potentially could be repeated for additional seasons. With a real multimillionaire who is not as wealthy as the previous fakes pretended to be and a poorer guy who likely still has a six-figure income, the new program hardly serves up the love versus money dynamic of its predecessors. The humor of the original has been lost to the worst of reality television's melodramatics.
Title should be Caroline looking for new baby daddy. I enjoyed the 1st Joe Millionaire and glad to see they rebooted it. From the get go this person was clearly not there for love, but for a new baby daddy. She was constantly causing trouble and the one was taken with her for the wrong reasons. His "other" body part kept her around for too long. She was manipulative, bossy and very rude. During family night, her gay best friend, another man was her guest. Where is your mom, dad or siblings? So now the guy has to contend with a kid, ex and now male best friend. The producers should have a rule, no baby mommas. It was better than I thought and loved the home they were in. But, it shows men that women only are interested in money.
