With the trailer for the eighth season having finally been released, it seems possible that the show will go down this storyline again. However, the direction it could be taking with Evil Morty could be very different this time.

With the release of the eighth season approaching, Rick and Morty have finally released the trailer, and it is quite insightful. Among many hints about what is to come, two specific scenes felt out of place considering the overall story of the show.

"Top Gun" star Tom Cruise has a memorable big screen history with Val Kilmer. Not only did the two actors rise to fame in the 1980s, but they played rivals in the blockbuster air combat film that would eventually result in a sequel that gave them a heartfelt reunion. That sequel also served as a fond farewell for Kilmer, who had been suffering from throat cancer but still managed to make a wonderful appearance in "Top Gun: Maverick," where his previously cocky character Tom "Iceman" Kazansky was suffering from the same ailment as Kilmer in real life, eventually dying in the movie years before Kilmer would actually pass away in 2025.

However, Cruise and Kilmer almost had a much different "Top Gun" reunion on the small screen over two decades earlier, thanks to "Saturday Night Live."

The Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce several films in 2025. It started with Captain America: Brave New World, and it will continue with the upcoming Thunderbolts* movie and, later, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The press tour for Thunderbolts* is currently underway as tickets are now on sale for the superhero movie. One of the featurettes for the film featured Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova performing a death-defying stunt, as Marvel detailed how they pulled off her jump from the second-tallest building in the world, the Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Speaking with Fandango, Pugh said she had to personally convince Marvel boss Kevin Feige that she could do the stunt after the studio expressed concern about the insurance risk.

Well, the show’s maker, James Gunn, took to his X account to make the announcement for DC Studios’ Peacemaker Season 2. He shared a short 11-second video teaser featuring John Cena in the titular role and Danielle Brooks, who says to Christopher Smith (Cena), “You are a superhero now.”

The third season of The White Lotus may not be its best but it certainly had some interesting elements. The social satire/black comedy focused on a new set of guests at the Thailand branch of the eponymous hotel, with the Jason Isaacs-headed Ratliff family having one of the more messed-up dynamics among other rich families of the show.

Many of us here at JoBlo were shaken up by the death of Val Kilmer. While his health had been fragile in recent years, he always seemed larger-than-life, and given how young he was (only sixty-five), many of us were in disbelief at the news. Exclusive: Anthony Edwards and J. Smith-Cameron join Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti in the FX drama pilot Seven Sisters.

The project, from FX Productions, follows a large, tight-knit family that begins to unravel when a sister (Olsen) starts communicating with a voice no one else can hear, forcing them to confront long-buried secrets.

We hear that Edwards will portray family patriarch Paul Bosco and Smith-Cameron will portray his wife, Francesca, in series regular roles should the pilot get picked up to series. They join Milioti, who we revealed yesterday will portray Olsen’s character’s sister.

Seven Sisters is executive produced by Will Arbery, who wrote the pilot; Sean Durkin, who will direct it; and Garrett Basch. Green, 51, shared a screenshot of his conversation with Kelly, 34, on his Instagram Stories after he chastised Green for asking when his and Fox’s, 38, child is due. Kelly is the father of Cassie Baker, who is 15. Fox gave birth to a child this week.

Green’s comments about Kelly came after news of his and Fox’s split in December when it was reported that the couple had broken up due to cheating.
