Mahabharat Murders

I haven't yet got the opportunity to read the actual novel nor did I have any preliminary knowledge about the material, hence, I cannot comment on how this show might have transpired from an adaptation standpoint. Although, I must tell you that the presentation here, despite several trials and attempts, failed to create that certain kind of impact I was looking for.

All of its issues were not just present in the script itself, they were also quite persistent and pretty pronounced in the screenplay as well as in its character developments. As a result, not only did the conflicts and the drama fall flat in most cases, the ultimate revelation, the supposed unwinding of the mystery too came off as inconsequential and undesirably convoluted.

Story, concept and style was copied from Midsomer Murders which is running for over 23 seasons. Repackaged everything in the context of Kolkata with some hints of Mahabharata characters. That British detective was unarmed and here we find contrast when we see, detective is carrying two guns! Silly exaggeration.

I'm sure, they Can't attract a big number of people and those who started watching like me randomly , won't find them watching this silly series anymore after two episodes.

But, from a different perspective, I must say that they need to continue producing this type of thriller more so that they can reach to maturity in writing and making series in these genre.

Mahabharat Murders, one of the most anticipated series from Hoichoi starts off smart, and soon becomes one of the most disappointing series. Glaring Plot-holes, zero character development, confusing plot lines and hotpotched ending.

How can we even call this fellow a director... very poor direction. No proper story line and very poor character selection... all the actors, except Saswata, were below average.. such a boring thriller web series i have never seen.. really these guys should learn from Bangladesh about direction and proper storylines.. please dont watch and waste your time. Just putting a few sex scenes, and some suspense music doesn't make a thriller. The director should never ever try hand on any other direction. The story progression is very very boring.. repeating lines of same dialogues makes it even more unbearable. Request to director, Please don't ever try hand on any thriller series... may be porn is your cup of pf tea..

Nicely presented pandws as a villain in the past and in future a prostitute as a darupadi a drug adicted and gay as a arjun .a murderer police man and croupt politician as other pandwas ...
