It's an Asylum film. What does anyone expect. If this company reaches 3 stars it's a near miracle. If any film bears the name Asylum, count on worst of the D-class slopfest in every way possible.
Beyond mentioning the name, no further review is necessary. Asylum is a stroll through cinematic pudu barefooted, worthy only of being satirized by a guy and some puppets.

Poor storyline, even worse acting.
A high ranking military officer with only one assistant, two so called scientists the only ones apparently able to combat the aliens.
Totally unbelievable.

I absolutely love cheesy b rate movies, but this wasn't even amusing accidentally. There wasn't even an effort for continuity, not that one would really notice because you'll spend more time playing with your phone than paying attention to this atrocity. H. G. Welles is spinning in his grave realizing that some joker took his premise and butchered it to hell and back. The spaceships and aliens did look cool for a quick minute but most the CGI was god awful, as was the acting in this monstrosity. It's a miracle I watched all the way through, but like any great train wreck, you can't look away.
Three WOTW productions in as many years. Three huge disappointments. This one is just as dire as the others. Poor acting, use of inane and unnecessary dialogue to fill up runtime, plot holes (ship travelling from Mars to Earth in 15 minutes anyone?). I give it some credit for the cgi, but that's all. It's just as well H. G. Wells isn't around to see this.
Avoid this trash, wear a mask over your eyes.

- GoofsLike many films, scriptwriters believe that Oxygen is combustible. In the film the threat from the aliens is that they plan to remove the ozone from the atmosphere and 'combust the oxygen'. Oxygen is non-combustible, it only supports combustion of another material e.g. a fuel or explosive.
