Edit

Factual errors

The US Air Force general and a lieutenant at the observatory would never keep their 'covers' (hats) on while indoors.

A bearded US Army captain is shown. Even if that person had a "shaving waiver", regulations would require him to keep his beard extremely short.
Like many films, scriptwriters believe that Oxygen is combustible. In the film the threat from the aliens is that they plan to remove the ozone from the atmosphere and 'combust the oxygen'. Oxygen is non-combustible, it only supports combustion of another material e.g. a fuel or explosive.
The uniforms are incorrect in so many scenes..
A soldier would not likely draw-on his eyebrows.
The fresh cut on the Allison's forehead does not bleed, does not change for a long time, then changes inconsistently.

Revealing mistakes

U.S. Army soldiers are shown armed with both M-16 assault rifles and Russian AK-47s. The Army does not equip its soldiers with AK-47s.

Errors in geography

The observatory featured in the movie is identified as being in New York state. When it is shown in aerial footage the terrain and particularly the mountains around and beyond it do not exist anywhere in New York.

Plot holes

The movie title: "Conquest". The Martians just attacked. They didn't conquer. They lost. The subsequent 88 minutes of life waste should be refunded.
