Bland and far too woke

I don't think I've ever seen a TV show try so hard to be modern and switched on, attempting to cover every possible modern topic in a popular fashionable way, these 3 bubble headed women babble on about these topics thinking they're witty and interesting, they are not.

Over dressed, over opinionated, over the hill, it's overall a sad effort and the end of these 3's careers.

I miss the friendships

I miss the friendships from SATC. This is like watching vignettes, or independent snippets that occasionally cross story lines. The brilliance of SATC was the common themes across the separate story lines within each episode - and the women's conversations about the central theme - that made it so rich. AJLT ... is trying to be its own thing but it doesn't work. Too many characters, too many story lines and not enough substance. It's... boring and the acting, which used to be so damn good, feels exaggerated... not believable. I dunno... it's just not working and I'm sad because these are lovely and talented people.

Seriously, who wrote this?!

This could have been really interesting to watch if the essence was the same... Instead of a revival of good times this turned out like a nightmare... It's enough what we're going through - Sex & the City always covered important and serious topics, but with a fun approach. This is just plain boring and poorly written. It's an embarrassment, really.

Cringeworthy

I'm still trying to figure out if they intentionally made it this bad and uncomfortable to watch. It's just sad to watch a show that I loved so much become something this bad.

Why keep insisting on ruining a good thing?

Loved sex and the city. Couldn't get past 20 mins of this show twice. I tried but the show was super woke, not the ballsy show I remember With girls Iwho had their own opinions and challenges. There was also way too much happy family's after all the mistrust. This show is an abomination. I thought the movies were bad. Just STOP!

In a touching interview with Stephen Colbert, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon revealed that the cast and crew were not informed of his condition when production began. Davis broke in tears describing going to work without him: "It's hard. I wish he was here".

The never-before-seen lobby of Carrie's apartment building is backwards. In the exterior shots, the bottom floor windows are on the right of the front door, while the lobby interior is reversed and the bottom floor unit is on the left of the front door.
