What happened to the other couple?

This was a good movie that had me confused! What happened to the other couple. And Jeremy Meeks was good in this. Rapper Trina did great too. I liked Dawn,with her trying to find out what's going on. But I'm confused about the other couple.or maybe I'm missing something. Dawn mom knocked him out and then tazed him😅😅😅😅😅😅. I wish regular broadcast tv would show movies like this more often because today's tv shows sucks. I knew Jeremy Meeks was going to get killed. Dawn hubby was a psycho,he killed Cori Jeremy Meeks character SMH. I'm glad at the end Lennox got to meet his grandma,.an his dad gone.

OK, but I couldn't root for the heroine

This movie was OK. A little confusing trying to figure out Dawn's story as the surrogate for her friend and what happened in the novel she accidentally received. The novel that seemed to parallel her life.

Some aspects of the plot were hard to believe, and I couldn't help but wish for a more artistic and less spandex-focused wardrobe for Dawn, who was a painter. The fashion choices left much to be desired. On a positive note, the movie featured visually appealing settings, from apartments to restaurants and bookstores.

I was bothered by Dawn breaking the cardinal rule: never getting involved with your best friend's partner, even if the friend is no longer in the picture. It's just not something you do. Not that I wanted anything bad to happen to Dawn, still I wasn't rooting for her character either.

I mean..... it's not bad, just okay.

The story is pretty good, the acting, so so.

It was a good watch for a Friday afternoon movie.

It felt like one of those lifetime movies 🤣, you know which ones I am talking about.

But overall it was an okay movie.

Great Storyline and Plot

I enjoyed the storyline of this movie. The only thing I wish was that it was more suspenseful early on. I was able to quickly figure things out. I didn't like how Cori got way too engulfed in the book, it seemed like it took over her. Other than that, the acting was pretty decent. I liked that it didn't take the plot forever to start to unfold.

Goofs
At the end when Dawn is tied by her hands, after she stabs Alex her hands are miraculously untied and the twist ties are missing from her wrist.
