Oh, come on... You know it's a masterpiece.

The best companion any kid could've asked for on a road trip with their parents. My, how time flies!

    Raining Jigsaw

This is another of my personal favorite video games of all time and it's my favorite puzzle game of all time in the puzzle genre. Not surprising on both counts, I was a kid from the 90's and I was there when it first came out. "Tetris" was a phenomenon that continues to this day as this game was released and continue to be released on multiple platforms. I remember some of the multiple video game commercials for "Tetris". There are even annual tournaments that are being held for this game.

The game play is great as it's simple and yet not which makes the game addicting. Your objective is to simply put together the raining jigsaw piece to make complete clean rows to clear up which will rack up points and give yourself more space for more pieces that continue to fall. You continue to do this until you complete your quota and then go on to the next puzzle challenge.

That's it in a nutshell, there is no storyline and there doesn't need to be as it's a puzzle game after all what kind of puzzle are you going to tell or even need to. Like with all puzzle games you're in it to think and solve puzzles that's it and I love that.

The whole game is a brain exercise but in a good way. I really like that you have the option adjustments where you can make it as easy or hard as you want depending on what kind of a challenge you prefer. What makes this game fun is how it can really make you build up your skills in thinking speed or even on being more tactical and cleverer trying to find even better ways to win or even just to play better than before. That's also part of what makes this game addictive, whenever I go back to this game, I always feel I could get better next time around, and I do.

Also like the competitor two player mode which makes this a great game to play during sleepovers or even just rounding up some friends or even significant others like my wife to play this game. This doubles your fun because it really challenges you and others to see how sharp your thinking skills in the game really are. Even when the other guy/girl beats me, I'm never sore about it as it's just a game after all and we can both always play again giving myself another chance. But it's also nice to see other people have mental skills like mine which mean more challenges and it's also gratifying to see if you can blow them away.

"Tetris" is a legendary game that keeps on coming and never goes away.

    Rating: 4 stars.
