I found this Incredibly dull with no originality, The writing especially is laughably bad painful to sit through.

Edgar Wright, who created the original Les allumés (1999), was asked to direct the US remake, but he foresaw that certain elements of the show would be lost if adapted for the US. One thing that ultimately made him turn down the offer was the demand that the character Mike would not have any weapons.
