Then again, maybe this should be considered on the level of SPAM. Anyone who actually pays to see this should be able to sue the supplier for $50,000 as it will use up a portion of your life at least as equal to that.
Guaranteed to give you malaria, typhoid, and the plague all in one dose.
Run for your life away from any thoughts of seeing this and if someone starts to say how much they liked it......... as I said, Run for your life. Oh and call the white coats for that other person.
Dang, I can't submit this comment without typing a minimum of 10 lines. How could I be forced to waste so much effort to tell you it is the WORST I have ever seen. And I remember all those space movies from the 50s and 60s. This is pre-Buck Rogers. It is pre Ice Age script and even Neanderthals could have acted better.

But Alien vs Hunter was so awful, I became incredibly tempted. I do have a general dislike for The Asylum's films, but this is a serious contender for their worst movie, and it is for me the worst movie I have seen in a long time. The production values are atrocious, in recent memory this is only one of about three or so movies that look as though absolutely no effort has gone into making it, complete with shoddy photography, cheap effects and dull lighting. The story is highly derivative, the script is cheesy and clichéd, the direction is abysmal and the characters could have been made of stone and I still wouldn't have cared in all honesty. The acting is some of the worst I've seen as well, none of the actors look comfortable and none connect to their cardboard characters, while the fight sequences are poorly choreographed and confusingly edited. Overall, appalling and one of the worst films I've seen. 0/10 Bethany Cox
If you have seen the promotional poster for this movie, then you might think that this has something to do with the highly successful "Alien" franchise or maybe the sequel to "Alien vs Predator". Unfortunately, it's neither. After the first 10 minutes, I was hoping it might be a spoof or parody of the "Alien" movies. Sadly it's not that either. Although it is rather unintentionally funny.
The story revolves around two spaceships that crash land on Earth. One contains a menacing alien and the other an alien hunter that is hunting the alien. Both spaceships land in the vicinity of a small country town where Marty (William Katt), a local newspaper reporter - and wannabe Pulitzer Prize writer - resides. After witnessing an alien attack firsthand, Marty tries to inform the townsfolk of what he saw and they all go to investigate further but eventually find themselves caught up in the hunt. I won't comment any further on the plot line, but if you have seen any of the "Alien" or "Predator" movies, then you can probably guess the rest.
The alien looks a little similar to those seen in the "Alien" movies, but the it has a body of a spider. Due to the rather lackluster special effects in this movie, the alien doesn't look anywhere near as menacing as those seen in the "Alien" movies. The alien hunter looks like a cross between the "Iron Giant" and the robot from "Lost in Space" (the old 60s TV show). And I am making it sound a lot better than what it really is.
This is a strictly straight-to-video movie that will probably get more attention for its cover poster than anything else. It was sad to see William Katt in this movie. I used to like him in the 80s TV show "The Greatest American Hero" and even the "House" horror films, but he really seems miscast in this dud. All the actors are terribly bad probably due to a dire script. There is also some terrible editing, but I have a feeling this was done to hide the atrocious special effects and poor action scenes.
I would categorize this movie in the same class as "Scorpius Gigantus" (2006), "Species III: Set Invasion" (2004) and "Starship Troopers 2: Hero Of The Federation" (2004). All straight-to-video duds with lame special effects, poor editing and terrible acting. Don't waste your time...

I had the good fortune of being both in a good mood and in good company tonight, so I decided to see this with my roommate.
The result was an hour and a half of constant laughter and spasms of the abdomen. While this movie had the script that a ten year old mental patient could write better, the fact that it was an absolutely horrible rip off of AvP didn't help either. Don't get me wrong, rip-off's are fine as far as I'm concerned, but when you butcher the original script (which was no polished pearl either, truth be told) in such a brutal and merciless way, that's just wrong.
I think the acting is actually sometimes even done better here in Croatia, just as the camera-work (Croatia is renowned for awful quality of both camera and script, not to mention acting, mind you), and the voice-overs (yes, voice-overs!) are done just as bad.
The whole movie gives you the impression of being made from top to bottom in a 100 square foot radius, the scenes are done in one and the same place over and over again, only the angle changes a bit, a prop or two is added, and occasionally smoke... and the costumes... my god, the costumes.
I won't go into further detail here, as this was an absolute disaster of a film, and while it would get a 9 out of 10 on my fun-o-meter, the objective grade here is 2, and I'm being generous.
If you're looking for an action flick, or anything to do with Sci-Fi, don't see this. If you enjoy a good trash movie like I do, and had fun watching Leben Tod - Night of the Dead 2006 (a must-see for trash lovers), this deserves to be on your to-watch list.
Cheers!

Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear - low budget nonsense - Alien looks like it was knocked up in someones lunch hour ! - a kind of Blue Peter Alien made out of tape and sticky back plastic Sadly it's films like this that give aliens a bad name ! - avoid if at all possible.
Acting is terrible - fight scenes are just awful - the special effects were obviously programmed on a Sinclair Spectrum or was it a BBC-B ?.
Its a kind of kid next door film - not starring the kid next door - but filmed by the kid next door ! using his 8mm cine camera - I have to admit to not watching the film the whole way through - it was just to painful.
Its the kind of film that gets an actor/actresses career off to totally the wrong start
