Matthew hails from Orlando, Florida, where from a young age he displayed a passion for filmmaking - starting as a production manager at a commercial house in Central Florida and eventually writing and directing four national commercials for clients including the Walt Disney Co.
After making the jump to Los Angeles, Matthew continued to gain experience in television series like The Exorcist starring Gina Davis, and most recently, "American Born Chinese" starring Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu. He's also written and directed an independent feature, "Paranormal Incident."
Matthew's work can be seen on the big screen or streamed on Netflix and Disney+, from studios like Disney, 20th, Bad Robot, FX, Warner Bros., CBS, Paramount, and Universal.
