An opportunistic and family reconversion

The new series Family Business (2019) is based on a hot topic in France, a recurrent topic since one or two decades: the legalization of marijuana for therapeutic or even recreational purpose. The director Igor Gotesman worked on the excellent Mon inconnue (2019) as scriptwriter and is also known for secondary roles in movies such as Edmond (2018) or Un homme pressé (2018). And the cast of Family Business (2019) is relatively enticing, especially the actor Gérard Darmon who is pretty good. Thus, the characters are globally endearing, despite a humour with a blatant lack of finesse. 5/6 of 10.
