good start

I think this is a pretty good start to a promosing series. It won't be a groundbreaking series, but just another enjoyable thing on Disney+

The more mature content on Disney+, the better

Dull drama about the true events of the first astronauts.

2.5 out of 5 stars.

Boring drama series with the first episode showing a group of military pilots entering the training program.

Characters are forgettable. Script is dull. And direction is slow moving.

Christopher Kraft (Eric Ladin) and Robert Gilruth (Patrick Fischler) tell the pilots at the Washington briefing that there will be only seven Mercury astronauts. At this stage in reality, NASA intended to select twelve astronauts. The number was cut down to six when it was realized that few or no pilots would drop out during astronaut training, then finally increased to seven.
