Awake: The Million Dollar Game

Netflix- I would have watched this a while ago had the first episode not been so horrible.

As far as gameshows go, its pretty darn good. There is very little dead time and quite a few laughs. Most gameshows are so freakin slow and can be condensed down to 20 minutes- not this one.

Maybe if you put the first episode at the end of the rotation, it would get better reviews? Most people who shamed this show probably only watched the first episode.

People can identify with the science behind these games- sleep deprivation is pretty common so its kind of fun. Host isnt bad.

I am a sleep tech and I A: love the sleep facts educating the public B: love the games as they are like watching scientific experiments testing human ability. I want to play them all and test myself. C:I love the host. He's funny and genuine. He reminds me of a friend of mine. He forms bonds with the players. D: the suspense is fabulous. E: the chance to win multiple ways is genius and F: sleep deprived people are funnier and more genuine. Love watching human behavior in this state. Fin

The host is the best part! He's very entertaining. The idea of the show is cool and the challenges are good. The only downfall is the ending. I think it should be a little more interesting at the end after all the work it took to get there. The beginning is cold blooded too only because you feel sorry for the contestants. Overall it's a great show. Loved it

The contestants sleep deprivation creates a show filled with mixed emotions of pain, empathy and hilariousness in the best way.

Okay so I have to admit it's kinda addictive to watch because people's behavior interests me. It doesn't seem scripted but I am slightly concerned for the contestants. Overall a good game show. If you came for anything else besides simple fun don't bother beyond one episode.
