This film is a phenomal glance closer up to Roger Waters' magnum opus tour.
I was lucky enough to be there for the actual tour and this film stood up as about as close to that experience as you could get. The directing, cinematography and VFX are fantastic, the film looks unbelievably good!
All of the imagery is captured so perfectly that it's hard to imagine how it could be done better! It truly captures the feeling of being there, this film also provides a deeper, clearer look into the message behind the tour, told through the film presented on screen behind the band, which is delightfully presented in full screen clarity in this film, with parts added.
There is so much to love about this concert film, Roger still sounds fantastic, it's shot brilliantly, it has a powerful, poignant message about the state of the world, and of course, the music is beyond brilliant.
Don't miss the opportunity to see this masterpiece in cinemas! Fingers crossed they release this on 4k blu ray! Shine on!

Unfortunately I missed out on seeing the live show due to being away on holiday. Being a huge Pink Floyd fan I found this absolutely stunning. Can't wait for the blu ray release.
This was magnificent, period. Many of my current favourites isn't part of this concert, but hey, my Pink Floyd favourites has shifted through my life, so this was more of a collection of a lot of my previous favourites. I had the pleasure of seeing the other part of Pink Floyd live in Nice in the 90s, but possibly this was a even greater performance. I've always been a Gilmour fan, but the composing genius of Waters is without question the biggest reason for their formidable success. And most of Waters' lyrics has a sharp message. So, to all of you who think this was too politically biased, have you ever actually read the lyrics? Waters has always been on the left side in politics, with stark criticism of the establishment/system, of greed, of war mongering and everything else he finds wrong in this world. You could start by reading the lyrics on Animals - a little hint, it's not about animals at a farm.
So it's just plainly ignorant to give this concert a low rating just because you don't like his message. That is his privilege to do and what you should expect from him. Agreeing or not.

Watching this on sky Arts 1-30 am during lockdown can't go out everything closed ,lifted my mood , I'm 84 years old now ,but my late husband and myself loved pink Floyd,,so beautifully done ,brought back happy memories ,folks,I loved it
It's not just a concert. It's a mix between a Roger Waters show and a drama movie, that tells some parallel stories about minorities, war, humanity and all of that stuff you can expect from Waters (so, yeah, it's very political, no surprises here). I was expecting just a concert movie, but the documentary aspect made it superb and very emotional, so it's not just a "boring" regular movie show.
Roger Waters knows how to perform a magnific gig, and this tour sounds just like a modern Pink Floyd, unlike his old tours wich the musics sounded like just a good Pink Floyd cover. Also, it has a very good mix, just like the The Wall Tour, wich is one of the best live mix I've listened.
This time, the projections shows a orb travelling trought our world, just like it would be in a Pink Floyd concert. If it may now sound exactly like Pink Floyd, it at least it LOOKS like what a modern Pink Floyd show would be (of course, with a lot of political questions).
Also, the show is the Dark Side Of The Moon album, but with some songs added in the adulthood part (B side). The order of the songs are perfect and make it a incredible show with a more complex narrative. A must watch for Pink Floyd fans.
(I don't get why people dislike Roger Waters or any people just by his beliefs. Yeah, he says a lot of garbage, including about my country, that he knows nothing about but still saying some superficial stuff. But I can separate Waters pollitical opinions by Waters artistic side, and yeah, this show is a masterpiece and can be enjoyable... unless you REALLY like Trump.)

- TriviaWhen song 'Another Brick in the Wall (II)' is performed, the orange overall outfits worn by the stage children are similar to those that Guantanamo inmates and / or ISIS captives have worn, have "Maggie's Farm" on the rear. This may be a reference to Bob Dylan's 'Maggie's Farm' song ('ain't gonna work on .. no more'), but more likely is to ex UK PM M. Thatcher whom R. Waters reviled in some of his lyrics on the last (Pink) Floyd Album 'The Final Cut.'
